It's an above average B&B for being in what is essentially a historic structure. The interior remodeling isn't luxurious but is comfortable and relatively modern. High, wooden beam ceilings. Clean bathrooms with modern showers.
The proprietor is friendly but speaks very little English.
No elevator, so be prepared to walk up three flights of stairs with your luggage.
Free WiFi, but the signal is weak and erratic.
Signage for the residence is difficult to see, but it's the last house on the right at end of the road. An iron gate blocks off what looks like a driveway, but isn't one. Parking is in a grass and dirt field on the other side of the (barely paved) road.
It's not the multi-story burnt orange color building on the left side as you near the end of the road.
Rustic and remote. It's a good place to stay if you prefer a spot in the hills near, but not actually inside, the woods. read more
