Prepare to be scammed…read more This place is a textbook tourist trap. Deceptive pricing, rude staff, and zero accountability. It's sad because the setting is beautiful and had real potential. We even joked that it would be a great wedding venue. No longer feel the same as I would never in my life want to deal with these people ever again. We stopped in for a quick drink before dinner. Just two drinks each, no food. The waiter clearly told us it was a 50 euro minimum per person, which we were fine with. But when the bill arrived, it was 600 euros for five people. Suddenly, they claimed it was a 120 euro minimum, something we were never told. When we questioned it, the manager was condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. His only response: "It's on the menu," then he walked away. No apology. No explanation. Had they been honest upfront, we either would have stayed for a full dinner or never sat down. Instead, they lured us in with false information. Classic bait and switch. We'll be disputing the charge with Amex and reporting this place everywhere we can. Avoid at all costs. You'll be overcharged, disrespected, and left with a very expensive lesson.

This hotel I would not recommend as my room is extremely small! We cannot even open the bathroom shower door unless the bathroom door is closed. I thought that my Bonvoy status (Titanium Elite for life) would help me get an upgrade or at-least a decent size room. Unfortunately the front desk would not accommodate us and said sorry we can't help you. This is unacceptable and not typical of other high end Marriott properties. We are very disappointed and considering leaving early.

Overall I enjoyed my stay but not five stars and drifting downward. It does not live up to its…read moresurroundings. The good starts with the location. Porto Cervo is beautiful and for the beautiful people. Fantastic yachts and the most glamorous brands. The private beach, a 15 minute ride on the hotels boat, is fantastic. Beautiful clear sea, wonderful sea life and more than enough beach chairs. Keep in mind no restaurant or bar, so pre order or bring lunch. The overall look of the hotel firs well with the environs. Also an excellent breakfast, particularly the fresh fruit. On the downside, the hotel is definitely getting old. Rather than a classic look, it's more like your parents house after they've been living there 20 years. Also one bad experience to report. We had a problem with ants in one of our rooms. We showed the GM, he came to the room, initially very happy how it was handled. Problem was they never got rid of the ants. He was clearly feigning interest and never followed up. Put a dark cloud over the experience. It's truly a Sheraton, and that says it all.

Nice experience and exceptional time we had here. Though it's a Sheraton, we were pleasantly surprised of high quality and their exceptional nice attitude. Situated in the center of Porto Cervo on the quay, among all the boutiques, restaurants and cafes. They have a nice small private beach, equipped with the sunbeds and all, opened seasonally and you can't go there anyhow except on their boat. It has a schedule, not very convenient and with a lunch break, but still. On our departure date "due to weather conditions" as they told us (weather was perfect though) the boat didn't go to the beach so we took a car and went to Cala di Volpe ourselves. The room was overlooking the canal, pretty nice view we had. Inside all spacious, neat and cozy. Breakfast was good and offered everything, except smoked salmon and Champaign. But eggs cooked any style, pancakes, cheese selection, meat cuts, everything else you can think of for breakfast they had. Also, they offer promotion sometimes: for some extra you can have dinner included or lunch at their main restaurant or at Pomodoro across the street. The food is truly delicious. Fitness center is across the bridge at the tennis club, typically equipped. Also they put some cardios at the swimming pool area during summer season. The personnel were nice and helpful. Turn down service and complimentary bottled water. Boutiques, and jewelry stores inside. Valet parking. Very trendy. Not much for the beach kind of holidays, more for swanky and chic Porto Cervo escape, but nice experience. Everyone can find something nice there.
