Great street style tacos! A must if you're visiting CDMX and seeking plant based options!

Really good vegan tacos in a hole in the wall stall in the underground pass under Estela de Luz. Everything is wheat based. Would recommend!

IT IS IN THE HUMAN UNDERPASS UNDER THE STREET! As a 90% vegan and traveling with a strict vegan means finding vegan places. We often had to go out of our way to find a place and this place was definitely a "find" in so many ways! The food was amazing (a bit spicy but I like it that way). The staff was so kind (we didn't speak Spanish and they were patient with us). We had the tacos, between us we tried 5 varieties. All were great! We had 6 tacos and 2 large drinks (horchtata) for the equivalent of a few bucks (US). I think it was around 100 pesos (I don't remember the exact price). Now for the important part. We walked around for 10 minutes trying to find it, it is IN the walkway under the street.

Fantastic, cool and delicious food. So glad I looked them up on Happy Cow. They are hard to find but I googled the coordinates and thank goodness another yelper's review mentioned that they are under the underpass. It was a treasure hunt and what a find indeed. We had the California Sushi, barbecue burrito, aguas frescas and a vegan brownie. The chef and staff were super groovy and we enjoyed our talk about the Chicago Bulls. Magnifico lugar!

I did not eat because they were closed. I left 5 starts because didn't want to ruin their good rating. But since it might hard to find, I took a few pics. It's kinda at the middle at the end of the two main roads ( if that makes sense). Walk towards that tall structure/ building labeled "left" on my pic. Hope this helps. If anyone goes when they are open please share the hours they are open. Thanks!!!

Really good vegan tacos. The Al Pastor were my favorite & the aguas frescas were also delicious. It may be a bit tricky to find this place but look at the photos & you'll find it. Delicious vegan food, so happy to have found it in CDMX

Awesome little vegan street taco stall under the street in a pedestrian walkway. Such great little tacos that are freshly made and delicious! They have a few stools next to where they make your tacos from scratch. So inexpensive but so delicious! Such a treat to have authentic street tacos that are vegan! They have vegan sushi too!

Yelp and Apple maps mess it up again in entirely the wrong location with the wrong hours.

This time there were about 10 people waiting and I finally decided it was worth it... and it absolutely was. The tacos were incredible, the service was fast, and they bring out 5-6 different sauces so you can try different flavors with everything. I sat outside, which made the experience even better great people-watching, amazing energy, and everyone walking by looked effortlessly stylish. Mexico City really is such a trendy, vibrant city. Honestly, I still think about these tacos. I could close my eyes and dream about this place.

Full disclaimer: these are my first tacos in Mexico City. The trumpo was really good!! Highly recommend! The res was good too, but not super standout. The chicharron itself was really good, but I don't know if I love it in a taco. The trumpo with the pineapple really stole the show. It's nice that the 3 tacos come with some potatoes. The potatoes were good! It seemed smashed then fried. Can't go wrong with frying potatoes. Food came out fast! It seems like this place can get super packed and busy, which I would think is a good sign!

The line is fast since this is not a sit down spot. There is seating next door to the taco stand, but they are not affiliated with the restaurant and you need cash to pay for a table. We opted to stand at the counter. Overall, the tacos are really well cooked and so tasty. We got an order of each meat taco. My favorites were the steak and filet. For its notoriety I expected a more grand storefront but it was just a standard food stall. You line up to order and pay and then they give you your food. You can take your food to go or grab one of the few tables next to the shop. The unique thing about this taqueria is that they cook their meats in slabs and place them on the tortillas as-is. They don't chop up your meat into dices and they don't have the typical taco proteins you'd expect either. We ordered most of the meats: steak ($58 MXN), rib ($88), filet ($77), and chop ($88). My favorites were the steak and chop. The rib was a little tough. All the meats tasted better with salt and I liked the green salsa on top. These weren't the best tacos I've ever had but they were good. While its Michelin star meant that I had to try it, I probably wouldn't go back.
