Boss Buildings in North Carolina a dealer with NC Carports and Garages LLC built my garage and…read morecarport. Overall, the building and carport are what I expected. It's the scheduling of the installers that ran way over the expected and promised install date. Then I had trouble with one of the roll up doors immediately after the installation and contacted both companies and am still waiting for the installers to come back to fix it. I reached out to them November 18, 2024 and received confirmation November 25 that they would schedule the repair and they never did despite my follow ups. Finally I filled Better Business complaint and the very day that BBB contacted them, they called me to schedule repair for March 4. However, no show and when I called they were sorry but said it would be Saturday. Now today is Saturday March 8 at 3 pm and I haven't heard from anyone. Just know the risks with this company if you contract with them. NC Carports and Garages LLC appear to sell through multiple smaller company names but I think they are all the same, just split up for liability purposes.

Working with Bryan at Bulldog was the absolute best. I came across them in doing my research for…read morethe best steel buildings and of course I wanted to make sure they were going to be the best for my project. I narrowed it down to 3 three companies, and from the start Bryan was the most responsive and transparent person to work with and their bid was simply the best and most affordable price. Working with Bryan felt like working with someone I had known for a long time. I asked LOTS of questions, maybe enough to be annoying, but he always quickly answered them. Now having completed my steel pole barn project, I can say that his answers were 100% spot on for the way this building project went. Bulldog's price was almost $30,000 CHEAPER than a traditionally stick built pole barn from a local contractor. The quality of the steel and skill of the crew that put it up were simply the best, it only took them 6 days to complete the building. I could not be happier with this pole barn building. It turned out amazing, lots of compliments from neighbors, family and friends. You should give Bryan a chance to work on your steel building project, he is great. In response to the negative review here on Yelp. That persons experience was NO WHERE NEAR my experience. Bryan was very transparent on what I can and cannot do when it comes to the warranty on my pole barn, however I asked a lot of questions up front and at no time during the process did I ever feel that Bryan or Carolina Carports mislead me. My experience was much different and was great. Modifying the pole barn is like wanting to take apart your iphone to modify it, probably going to void your warranty there too. As to the 2.5" gap they say is between their walls and ceiling, mine barley lets sunlight through, very tight and well built.

Carolina Carports is a nightmare of a company. They insist you work through their "local…read morerepresentatives" to design your building. My local representative, recommended by Carolina Carports from their Web site, is Bulldog Steel Structures. Both companies are located in Dobson, NC, and work closely together. Bert and Bryan, from Bulldog Steel Structures spent more than a month designing for me a $50,000+ metal building, 30' by 60", for office, pottery studio and garage, that required $10,000+ in insulation, and THEY KNEW would require electricity for lighting, heating and air conditioning. I had to pay Bulldog Steel Structures $7,000+ as my agent to design the building. I was on a tight schedule. Then Carolina Carports tells me, after I signed my contract and they installed my building, that I would void my building contract if I put in electricity, heating and air conditioning, which Carolina Carports does not install. Also, they have a 2.5" gap between the walls and ceiling of the building that makes insulation useless. nevertheless, Carolina Carports advertises today (8/17/2022) on their web site an office building that has heat pumps outside the building with electrical panels. Also, on their web site, they list proudly a 20 year warranty, but don't mention that you'll lose your building warranty if you install electricity in the building. Who does not need electric lighting in a large building that serves as a studio, garage and office? Carolina Carports and Bulldog Steel Structures have a misleading and, I insist, fraudulent process for sales and marketing that seduces customers to design and build buildings, and pay non-refundable deposits to their "local representatives," before Carolina Carports notifies you, the duped consumer, in no uncertain terms, that any changes that their "local representatives" have helped you plan will void your building warranty. Stay away from Carolina Carports and Bulldog Steel Structures.
