The service technician showed up right on time. I showed him what needed to be done (outdoor 120V panel removed and replaced with 240V service panel for the hot tub) and I got a firm upfront price (parts and labor) straight out of his service binder. No surprises. Since he was already here, I showed him another minor job I had been putting off (replacing the security light high ankle my garage). Again he gave me a firm price (labor only) or if his binder. I would supply the security light myself. So while he ran to the store to get the parts to replace the 120V panel, zi went to Lowe's to pick out and purchase the security light I wanted (motion-activated). When I returned home 30 minutes later, he was already working on the panel outside. I gave him the security light and he was done with everything in about 20 minutes.
