And, in addition, they have moved my personal household 4 times as well. I have now met 8-10 of his team, and they are all courteous and caring with my belongings. I cannot say enough great things about Amen Movers. Consider using them for your next personal or business move.

My experience with AMEN Movers was extremely poor. I found the company on Nextdoor, but had I…read morereviewed their Yelp ratings, I would have avoided them entirely. The Yelp reviews closely mirror my experience. I initially spoke with Lloyd, who came to my home to assess the items. I pointed out several fragile pieces, and he assured me that his team would wrap them, including a jewelry stand, vases, and pictures. He provided a quote for $702.50, and we scheduled the move for August 14 between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. At 10:24 a.m., I texted to ask for an updated arrival time and received a response of ten minutes. The movers arrived at 10:55 a.m. Once they began, the process appeared to be going smoothly. While they were packing the truck, I was transporting boxes in my car to the destination. After they completed the move and began unloading, I returned to my home and discovered that several items had been left behind. When I notified them, they stated they could not take the vases and pictures because they were not packed. I reminded them of my conversation with Lloyd, and I also pointed out a bench that had been left in the dining room. They then agreed to return for the remaining items. While unloading, I witnessed one mover attempt to place my dining table on a dolly without wrapping it. The table rolled off, and the leaf fell out. I took photos. When I addressed this with the lead mover, he suggested repairing it with wood glue, which was unacceptable. At the end of the job, I was charged $897.00 and informed that they accept only cash, Cash App, or Zelle, which prevents any credit card dispute. I contacted Lloyd regarding the damaged table, the items left behind, and the lack of proper wrapping. He stated he was not aware of the damage and later claimed he had fired the movers because they were using his business to start their own. When I inspected my storage unit, I found the items packed in an unsafe and poorly organized manner, with heavy items stacked on top of unstable pieces. My mattress and bedframe were placed at the front, and other items were at risk of tipping over. Lloyd agreed the unit was poorly packed and came with his daughter to help me get to some boxes that were stacked very high. also showed him the condition of my sofa and bedframe, which were only partially wrapped, resulting in dirt on the sofa. When I sent photos of the damage, Lloyd did not mention filing a claim. Instead, he offered to pay out of pocket but said he could not do so immediately due to family issues. After giving him thirty days, he sent $200 through Zelle and stated that no further reimbursement would be provided. Although Lloyd was polite, he consistently avoided accountability and offered multiple excuses. Based on my experience, I do not recommend AMEN Movers. The lack of care, inconsistency, and overall inconvenience outweighed any benefit of supporting a local business. Of course you see a one star because I had to but definitely Zero stars. There was some water left on the floor afterward, which I mentioned, but overall I was happy and booked them again this year. This time, only one tech arrived--and she was late. Even though I added a rug and a deep clean, the job was finished very quickly and parts of my couch were still visibly dirty. When I pointed it out, the tech just shrugged it off. What really bothered me was finding the tech taking a vape break in my kitchen while leaving the machines running to make it sound like she was still working. I've called the company three times and left voicemails with no response. I have other cleaning options and won't be using Wave again.

We were very pleased with the quality of service and the value we got from them. After we moved, we had a number of comforters and other items that are too big for a regular consumer laundry and we wanted to have them cleaned for our new house. If we still lived in Cornelius, we probably would have taken them to Lake Norman Shoe Repair and Dry Cleaning but did not want to drive the 10 miles each way if we did not have to. Checking around, someone suggested we give Signature a try and my wife did. Dropped off a number of Comforters on a Monday or a Tuesday and they called two or three days later and they were ready. When my wife picked up the Comforters, she made an amazing discovery. Signature Dry Cleaners and Lake Norman Shoe Repair and Dry Cleaners are owned by the same folks. Our Comforters had actually been cleaned back in Cornelius. I commend them for their wise use of resources and avoiding purchasing redundant and expensive equipment and keeping costs down. Later I had a number of dress trousers where the cuffs were coining down. Dropped them off and had them back in a couple of days. Compared what they charged me with other places in the area and they were anywhere from 20 to 40 percent less expensive and the workmanship was outstanding. This is a place that if you are in the Denver, NC area, you definitely need to use for your Dry Cleaning. Very Professional, Friendly, Timely with great value

Bait and switch, RUDE, and no communication from the owner to address their error…read moreI dropped off two bags of wash and fold laundry; specifically sheets, towels, a blanket and comforters, after being drawn to the business because they offered a 20% off coupon on comforter laundering. When I received my laundry back, half of it was laundered and half of it was dry cleaned. To be more specific, one pillowcase, one sheet and one comforter was dry cleaned. The other pillowcase, the other sheet, and the other comforters were laundered. When I inquired about the $284 charge, which should have been $42, the lady at the desk, was very rude and hung up on me. When I called back, she accused me of hanging up on her. I asked to speak to the owner. She said the owner would not talk to us because she was busy and on the phone, but had offered a $35 credit towards future cleaning. "No thank you," I said, "I'd like to speak with the owner." She then proceeded to yell at me again. When I attempted to ask to speak to the owner again, she belligerently told me to stop interrupting and that she would hang up on me again if I continued. I have left several messages and have not received a phone call back from the owner. I would not recommend this place, my experience was horrible and I paid additional $238 for one dry cleaned pillowcase (it's mate was laundered as I ordered), one dry cleaned sheet (whose mate was laundered as ordered), and a dry cleaned comforter, which I did not order. To make matters worse my wife is allergic to perc (the dry cleaning ingredient) so we now have to take them elsewhere to be laundered so we can use them. I am not a person who leaves bad reviews. However, I have used wash and fold and dry cleaning services for over 30 years. (Not my first rodeo.) The level of overcharge compounded by rudeness is why I am writing this review. Stay away.
