Extremely fresh and more than delicious plus they come at reasonable prices. Only catch is during dinner time you may reckon that the service can be kind of overwhelmed and may therefore not be too attentive. Hope that's something they're gonna work out soon. Other than that totally recommendable and absolutely worth a shot!

The food was tasty and a large portion for a lunch menu item, I was very satisfied with the service and meal. If you come here I highly recommend their curries.

Unfortunately, things was pretty much downhill once we enter inside. We asked for an English menu the owner/waiter just laugh like we are lessor or something. Then he preceded to make jokes with his regulars at our expense knowingly we did not understand. We were just going to get up and leave however we were pressed for time and just want a quick bite. That was a huge mistake. We ordered the spring roll and it was the nastiest thing I ever tasted - salty, cheap ground meat, the skin was soggy and dripping with oil. I knew we were in trouble when they couldn't get a signature appetizer right. We also ordered egg noodle (lo-mein)? and a curry dish. It was not as salty but pretty ho-hum. Yeah.. I never had these "authentic "dishes in Vietnam before. Not sure how the other reviewers think this place is authentic or good. My suggestion is read some of the filtered reviews (they had similar experiences) and avoid this place like the plague.

Don't be afraid to try new things and ask for recommendations-it's a family-run restaurant who will be honest about what dish might work best for you and what to avoid (e.g. if it's too spicy). It was quite an adventure for us as they do not have English menus and the father does not speak English, but his daughter (who also works there) is fluent and helped us a lot with describing dishes and ordering. Would go back if we ever returned to Olching!

The old man behind the counter and what appeared to be his daughter were running the place and he was the cook. The menu is fairly big with a lunch card. It's a pretty good deal at €5 for most items on the Mittagskarte. I chose to go with Pho my benchmark for Vietnamese restaurants and it was good. The broth was nice and flavourful. A bit of chili added to that and I was in heaven ha ha ha. I picked up the bowl and drank every drop of the broth. Simple but tasty is the best way to put it. Happily come here again for Pho. At €6.50 it's a bargain for a nice tasting soup.

This is my go-to Asian spot in Munich…read more This is a hole-in-the-wall joint with only about 5-6 tables inside. There are only about 2-3 people on staff at a time. Everything is made to order. I've never ordered the same thing twice and have come here 3-4 times, and so far everything has been delicious. The duck dish with the noodles comes in a deep musky broth, topped with a sliced, fried duck. The portion of the rice dishes are huge. Enough to take home for two, or if you're really hungry and eat the entire thing, anticipate a nap. As you sit in this small bistro, you'll notice the care they put into each dish. It's not rushed like some Chinese places. They take their time and they don't charge much for it. Enjoy the food without hot sauce first. The heat might be enough!
