I have been a regular customer here ever since my sister started coming here last year. I have been to lots of other places (cheaper) but this is definitely the best in terms of quality and service. I have always had great service here, and my nails are strong and stay on and Laura the lady who works here (also with her husband who is very chatty and amenable) will do your nails how you like. Laura and her husband are Vietnamese but they are really chatty and make you feel right at home and so there is no language barrier at all. I always ask for them to be placed slightly lower so they last longer. I used to have acrylics but now I go for the gels - they feel lighter, less fake and look lovely. I have had the designs on my thumbs and they are hand drawn on and she will draw you a pattern to how you like and use colours that you like too. I'm stayng in Corby, Northamptonshire on a business trip second time this year. I have gel nails and was very disappointed with the service and work quality in nail salons in surrounding area. Finally I found a nail salon that is worth going to. A woman that works there, Laura and here husband are very friendly, treat each customer with respect and care. Laura is truly qualified specialist, that has all the required certificates to do this type of job. Unfortunately because they are staying very busy they don't do pedicure anymore. That's probably the only drawback :) I would definitely recommend this salon to everybody and I will for sure return to this salon again if I need infills while I'm in UK. read more

Absolutly awful customer service, they were very rude towards me and a friend, rushing us out the way to try and fit more customers in. Not listening to what we wanted and when confronted they refused to believe what we had said, some of our nails were put on wonky, different lengths, some weren't even the right size for our nails. No fault of my own or theirs i had an allergic reaction to the products they used due to sensitive skin (so don't go their if you get easily irritated) they made me soak my nails in Acetone. Acetone is found in nail varnish remover but is mainly used in laboratories, i had said that i find it very hard to use nail varnish remover because i can not get it on my skin but they made me soak my hands in it as the other way they could have taken my nails off would have been 'far too long and wasted their time because they have more important people to do' i didnt know that i would have a reaction to their products so its no ones fault but the way they reacted to me was appalling. I do how have a large lumps all over my skin that are itchy. After my friend had said numerous times that she wanted different nails the still ignored her and told her 'they would look ugly because of her'. I asked if i could have my money back as it was their products that harmed me as in the past with different materials it has never had a reaction she proceeded to shout at me in an abusive mannor. We decided to pay as we didn't want anymore throuble but we will never go their again and never reccomend it to anyone. read more

I am a regular customer here and have always had great service so thought I would get round to posting a review. I come here every 3-4 weeks to get my gel nails done, Laura the vietnamese lady is always very polite, pleasant and more to the point thorough!!!! She spends time and care on my nails and my nails are always strong and look beautiful. I have had numerous compliments on my hands and they look elegant and the nails are strong! I have been coming here for the past 7 months now, since I was recommended by a friend after noticing her impeccable nails, so I had to ask her where she got them done. She told me about this place (its next to Argos you can't miss it) Laura's certificates hang on the wall so you can see she is fully qualified nail technician which is important to me as there are a few rather dodgy salons nearby (cough cough!) which arent qualified at all. Having a full set from scratch takes around 30-35 mins and infills take around 20-30mins. Full sets of gels are £30 and infills are £22. There are cheaper places around but I find you tend to get what you pay for and the nails here last and last! Whilst I'm here I get my eyebrows done too, as it is a good thorough procedure with after-care lotion applied:First the brows are brushed, then waxed according to the shape you desire, aftercare lotion is applied and then they are subjected to a trim and a final tweezing to get any stray hairs.Its really good value for money and only costs £5 and they dont need doing for another 3 weeks so Im really happy! If you're not happy with the shape or want more taking off then they are more than happy to oblige. Mine tingled at first but only because I wasnt used to it, but the lotion helps and after you get it regularly done you really dont feel much at all, well I don't, but then again I suppose some people are more sensitive to waxing than others! It often gets busy in here and I think that's testimony to their service and quality of product they offer. I always book ahead because I hate waiting. There's also a large variety of tips on offer so you can colour tips or glitter tips for a special night out and you can also get little 'jewel' stones put on each tip, which make them really stand out and look so pretty! I had them done for a hen night and everyone commented on them Ive tried out all the nail bars in Kettering and this is the only one I trust and recommend and have brought a lot of my friends here too Thanks for the great nails Laura, they always look and feel fab!
