Viejo Balcón cuenta con dos locales en la ciudad de Rosario. Nuestro tradicional local de calle Italia y Wheelwright que nos acompaña desde nuestros inicios, y el nuevo local ubicado en Puerto Norte desde el año 2015.

      Viejo Balcón nace a mediados de los años 80 en la ciudad de Rosario con el objetivo de convertirse en el referente de la parrilla Rosarina, ofreciendo carnes asadas de primera calidad respetando las tradiciones de la mundialmente conocida parrilla argentina. A lo largo de más de tres décadas logró plasmarse en el corazón de los rosarinos, y continuar manteniendo la calidez de lo tradicional y de una empresa familiar. Viejo Balcón cuenta con dos locales en la ciudad de Rosario. Nuestro tradicional local de calle Italia y Wheelwright que nos acompaña desde nuestros inicios, y el nuevo local ubicado en Puerto Norte desde el año 2015. En nuestros restaurantes contamos con colaboradores de amplia trayectoria formados desde sus inicios en nuestros locales, que junto a un ambiente descontracturado, crean el lugar ideal para pasar un buen momento con familia y amigos.

Another time, I had pasta because I had beef for lunch earlier that day; much to my surprise the pasta was excellent too. All the waiters here know the menu very well, and do an excellent job of recommending how to prepare the dishes they suggest. It's all the more impressive when the dishes recommended aren't necessarily the most expensive ones on the menu. Overall, the quality is consistently very good and the prices are decent. Highly recommended!

The starters are quite good (I've tried at least three of the half dozen starters on the menu) the grilled provolone cheese being the best. But from your starter on you'd probably feel that brilliant first impression starts to fade away... Maybe if you choose to eat at Refineria you should stick to the "parrilla" option; I've heard that it's the best they offer. Be sure to sit inside if you don't like mosquito bites or the smell of mosquito repellent mixing with your food. All in all, the place is lovely and the service is very good but their food, unfortunately, is not as good as their service or ambiance. Don't get me wrong, the food is far from bad, but it's just not good enough.
