Every time I've gone the fruits & vegetables section was almost questionable . They didn't look fresh, the tempatture in the store is to high for these produce I find which makes them all "mooshie" . They don't last very long if you do buy them , maybe a day or 2 before starting to rot . Most sale items are either expired or expiring within a day. I went because it's quiet and they had a specific item that other health stores don't carry. Second of all what started with a good experience ended up in a very bad one. I noticed after my last visit that they had charged extra item on my bill. A 20$ item to be exact!!! ! I didn't notice on the moment since I had bought other things from the "pharmacy" section and didn't "click" why my bill was higher than expected. My mistake was to not check my bill on site, i felt bad for holding up the line . The cashier was alone and she had about 6 other customers behind me. So I rushed ou When I noticed , I went back to advise them of their error and the cashier told me it was highly impossible that she had made a mistake because the item was in the middle of my bill. I tried to explain to her that the lady behind me had the item that was scanned on my bill. She had left it on the counter while she went to get something else in the store and when the cashier put her scanner down it probably scanned the item by accident ( cause store scanners do that if you leave the barcode in front of the red light it scans by itself ( I've worked in many store and this has happened to me by mistake)) . She refused to believe me, told me the manager would check the cameras and call me within a day or two. Never received a call back from the manager . I had to call back numerous times, they never answer the phone . Only once did I get to speak to the same cashier and she said I'll remind the manager and I'll call you back. It's going on two weeks of me calling and never getting an answer . I don't live next door so it's hard for me to go all the way to the stores, cause trust me I would be there everyday until they admit their error. Even if they don't admit it , atleast CALL YOUR CUSTOMER BACK ! It's the least they could of done. Because now it ends with me having a really bad experience with this store because they don't care about their customers. CHECK YOUR BILLS ON SITE , don't care about keeping up the line if it's going to save you your well earned money ! Now the store has charged 2 customers for 1 item and I find that very unfair ! They should be able to see in the inventory that they sold one more than what they actually were holding in store.

On the plus side, there is a very good selection of organic products and healthy oriented food. I…read morewould be careful about the pricing. Several items i had found considerably less expensive in other stores, in particular now that the larger chains are getting into this market. I dropped my rating by a star (from my original 3) due to the fact that there may be a lot of people who have been overcharged for their purchases. The cashier we had charged us tax on some food items. When approached by this oversight , the cashier blamed the cash register. I dont know whose fault it was , but please check your bills before leaving.

Their resto is absolutely delicious! This was one of the most memorable meals I've had in a while. They have a daily menu that is vegetarian, vegan and GF friendly. They have sandwiches, salad bowls and a soup of the day. We ordered the gravlax bowl and vege ham sandwich. The vege ham tasted like ham paté and the gravlax bowl was one of the best dishes ice had in a while. It was healthy and umami. We also ordered coffee and tired their desserts. Their raspberry tart was packed with raspberry flavor and the lemon tart was made with tofu but you'd never know. We sat out in their lovely terrace and didn't budge for 2 hours ! Their store is filled with cosmetics and the usual health food products. What I liked the most though is that all their meats, cheeses and butter came from local farms in Estrie. What a lovely business, do stop by!

L'Eau Vive natural grocery store was the perfect solution: neat, tidy, a great selection of quality foods packed onto a relatively small footprint and a bonus! The small, upstairs restaurant is light, airy, and naturally, has a healthy menu. So plan your shopping around lunchtime!

They have a small store on their farm in Brebeuf but this review is for their general store located along the 117, slightly north of St-Jovite and the big grocery stores. I love their emphasis on local and organic produce. In addition to selling vegetables from their own farm, they partner with multiple producers in the region, so I can always find fresh eggs or chicken that was raised in the next town over. They also try to be as zero-waste as possible, offering flours, nuts, coffee, etc in bulk, which is not easy to find in this area. The pick-up concept is simple- you make a list of items you need and someone does your groceries while you're on the phone with them. I was really grateful because one of the employees spent over 10 minutes on the phone with me and made a lot of suggestions when something was missing. It's a small store but they have everything you may need, from fruits & vegetables, frozen meats, dairy products to shampoo bars and cleaning products. The pick-up service is free but delivery costs $15 and they only deliver within a 15m radius. My order was ready within a few hours and I picked it up on their porch. It was safe and it felt nice to know that my parsnip didn't travel a billion km before ending up in my basket.

I spoke to manager who said that they should but they always refuse! Any other store has gotten au courant with the fact that we are post pandemic and customers packing there own is a thing of the past. I can find anything they sell cheaper at higher end health food stores or grocery stores anywhere! I'm done shopping and argueing with the older blond cashiers about how they don't pack your groceries especially when they stand there with no lineups-just simply lazy.

Bring your own bags or pay the associated fee at check-out, for a plastic bag. They recently moved from their previous location (where the outlets are) to this place and it's a much better spot. First, it's bigger and therefore less cramped than their previous location. Secondly, in addition to having a wider selection of items, they also have a to-go counter with a few prepared meals. You can either take them to go, or eat there - they've got a nice little spot tucked away in a corner and in summer, you can eat outside. Stuff: They have a great selection of vegetables, sprouts, dairy (or no-dairy) products, meats, vitamins, supplements, teas, dried goods etc. Aside from TAU, they're the only other organic store that sells Pukka tea, so that's a big plus for me. You can pretty much find what you're looking for, if you want to stick to organic and/or healthy products. Price: It really depends. For certain items, you may find that they are cheaper than your regular grocery store (i.e. Go Go Quinoa cookies are $4.19 here, but $6.99 at Metro), but in other cases, you will find that they're more expensive. And still, in other cases, they're on par with other stores (i.e. That Pukka tea is the same price at TAU). Side note: Rachelle-Bery was purchased by IGA a while ago, and rumor has it that they `have`to carry certain products and brands, which I assume lends to the higher price of certain items. Bonus: On-sight Naturopaths that you can consult for whatever ails you. They can usually make some good recommendations or advise you on where to go/who to consult if they can't. These guys also have locations on the island of Montreal.
