Both times, my hair was cut in a hurry. Perhaps the fastest my hair has ever been cut in my 37 years of life. The first time, I was the only one in the salon and there were no appointments after me. My haircut turned out okay, but I almost always think a haircut turns out good or great. I went back again today because I like the Old Town Tomball location. Alas, I was a few minutes late, my fault. Once again, it was a super fast hair cut. It was then I realized: this salon overbooks. They only allow 45 mins for a shampoo, haircut and blow dry. I was promptly kicked out of my chair at 43 mins into the appointment with halfway wet hair. Very bizarre. I guess when I think of the "salon" experience, I don't think of speed. Again, partially my fault this time since I arrived a bit late, but I still think there are major flaws in their scheduling and quality. It's a shame since the location is so good and it's a cute place.

She is a perfectionist in the best way possible and her attention to detail is phenomenal. I have never had a stylist who so detailed and amazing. The job post online said from $15 an hour....which is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! Lash stylist are commission ONLY! So I was helping LeeAnn the owner out and doing the front desk for her! Now it's not just front desk.....you are actually her assistant!! Your job is to answer both phones the one for the salon and the one for longMI lashes, schedule clients, etc do all the front desk duties but also you have shampoo every client that needs a cut, wash out color put toner and sometimes blow dry which wouldn't be a problem but there is no commission off of it and you get paid pennies!! She has back to back clients. And if she gets backed up then she will ask one of the other stylist to help her but not share the money for their time and talent! She was no clear when she hired me! This is why receptionist don't stay long and it makes sense now when clients would come in and say "oh another new person!" Even if you are a hair stylist you only get 40% and there is a back bar charge that she is taking a percentage from the stylist as well. LeeAnn is pretty much the only one that has back to back clients (because she has an assistant) and then the other stylist get the "overflow"Just wanted to be clear and no one get blind sided if you ever want to apply here! She clearly does not value her staff and their talent!

Bless her heart, she's a great colorist but not the best at cutting hair. She left it with frayed ends, choppy, more damaged looking than it was and still thick and hard to manage. Imagine asian mullet. Yup. Help! So on to get help. In the course of 5 yrs of living in Houston, I would have to say Duc was the best at cutting my hair. I took his first available appointment. He asked, "What are we doing here?" I explained, we need to fix this sad asian mullet. There was just no way I was going to live with this horribly confused haircut. Oh my word did Duc deliver! He blended and lighten the weight of my hair beautifully. The next friend who saw me couldn't believe how my new haircut made me look so differently! I know, sorry i didn't have a before and after pic guys. But hell no, was I going to be documented with that horrible cut! LOL I am deeply grateful to Duc and the wonderful people at Envision Salon.
