It seemed like such a struggle to get quotes in order to move forward with our fencing plans. While…read moresome were over the top expensive, others were over the top inept. Finally, with our options dwindling, we were trying to figure out before winter, how to get this job done. Then we came across C&M Fence company. From the beginning, Cliff showed he was confident enough in his crews abilities, and yet honest in the fact that this "type" of fence was new to him. He didn't flinch. After a couple back and forth texts, quotes, modifications, revised quotes, C&M Fence won us over with his "can do" attitude, affordability and professionalism. He got the bid and within two weeks the work began. He told us "we should have it done by the end of the week". That made me suspicious because, unbeknownst to Cliff, we had trees. The trees he knew about. But the trees had roots and roots had more roots. So on the first day when I can home, I was pleased to see the posts installed - except for 4. The roots won that round. I was hoping C&M would be victorious but the trees were a formidable adversary. Day two - "The neighbor". I'm not going to go into a great deal of details on this obstruction other than to say, when you've live in a house as long as they had, and the last construction they witnessed included a boat housing two of every animal - they were clearly not impressed with our plan and they took great strides in discussing the matter with Cliff. Undeterred Cliff took it all in stride and carried on. So he won kudos with both root and neighbor victories. Soon came day 3, 4 and 5. He said he would be done by weeks end - he was a man of his word. Not only was the fence completed, on time and on budget, but they even cleaned up EVERYTHING they were involved with. No cups, trash, screws, lumber scraps, and the foundation was smoothed out, raked up and finished. Thank you Cliff and C&M Fence. Special note: 1.
