What an amazing experience! We had our parents 50th anniversary "family portrait" done by Duane!…read more Party of 10 (not a small feat) It was such a fun light hearted quick photo session. It was very organized and Duane makes everyone feel comfortable. There's nothing worse than weird "picture smiles". After photos were ready, we were scheduled back to preview the photos for final edit recommendations. All kinds of requests were made such as : Fix my hair, make me skinny, hide my big butt, my toe looks weird, there's a shine on my forehead, my eyes are closed, I'm not looking at the camera... among other thousand things. Duane was busy taking all the notes just to make sure he got everything straight. He even made changes on the fly and let us see what what those changes looked like. He did side by side comparisons too. He was able to rush order our portrait so we could have it on time for the 50th celebration. My husband and I had a very small wedding at the Orange County Mining Company. We met Raul at a…read morewedding show hosted there. After speaking to a few other photographers, when we met Raul, we knew he was exactly what we were looking for. Raul was familiar with the venue, highly recommended and a very nice man. There was no pressure and his work spoke for itself. Raul donates all of his proceeds to a non-profit organization and is a truly talented, professional photographer. Raul set up a meeting with us a week after the wedding show and we were able to share exactly what we wanted to remember from our wedding. Raul listened and assured us he would do all he could to make our day perfect. Raul called me a few days before the wedding to iron out the details. I had no stress knowing he had everything under control. When I arrived to the wedding, he and his assistant were there to capture every moment from me getting out of the car to the final kiss of the night. The best part was receiving our proofs online 5 days later! We loved every shot. From the staged, posed photos to the candid, most precious shots, they were truly amazing. Cynthia Lozano, the photographer OBD Studios sent for my wedding, lost half of my wedding…read morephotographs and then tried to hide that from me when I followed up; rather than informing me in a professional and timely manner, she did not let me know of the issue until a week after she had originally promised me my photos, and this was after I followed up with her twice to inquire about the status of my project. The biggest slap to the face was the email I received from her at that point, informing me she lost the photos -- this included all posed group photos and photos of us going home -- and that she was refunding me $200. Is $200 really the price of a once-in-a-lifetime memory? I am still attempting to recover the originals from her, which she said were too grainy to use. I figured I could pay someone else (I naturally don't trust her photography or editing skills anymore) to salvage at least the group photos. She sent me a flash drive of just 144 raw images -- more than half of which are photos *I sent to her* after hurriedly collecting them from my friends' mobile phones. For reference, we commissioned her to take over 500 photos. She's friendly and nice, but she is not professional at all. Go with someone else -- please -- and save yourself the heartache and time.

Just recently has shot pics at my friends housewarming, multiple bday parties and this Saturday another 40th! Honestly, he is pretty much a staple at any big gathering. We check in to make sure he's available before we set the date. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about Nate. It takes all the pressure off of trying to get a few "decent" pics of any big night/event. I used to never get any pics or else have some super crappy ones I squeezed in with bad lighting.
