Stop scrolling and read ‼…read more I have been going to IMX Pilates studio in Gilroy for 4 years now, and I must say it has completely transformed my lifestyle. The results I have seen on my mind, body, and soul are nothing short of amazing. This is my second home. One thing I really love about this studio is that each instructor has their own unique way of teaching, which keeps the classes fresh and exciting. I never get bored because I am always learning new strategies and techniques. You are encouraged to work at your own pace especially if you have any injuries. The environment at IMX Pilates Gilroy is also incredibly friendly and fun. The staff and fellow members make every workout feel like a breeze. It's a place where I can push myself to new limits while still enjoying every moment. Cleanliness is essential after use of equipment. Overall, I can't recommend IMX Pilates Gilroy enough. It's been my go-to studio for years, and I will continue to attend classes here for as long as I can. If you're looking for a transformative Pilates experience in Gilroy, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! After hearing about Pilates for years I finally decided to give it a try…read more I took advantage of the free intro class - and loved it. The studio was clean and welcoming, the instructor was friendly and patient as she introduced me to the basic Pilates movements. Some were challenging and modified movements were offered. After that intro class I was excited to try a regular class and did so a few days later. The instructor was awesome and took great care of me as I clumsily performed the movements. Other people in the class were supportive and encouraging and kept an eye on me so when I got lost on a movement or didn't understand something, they helped me out. People of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels are in these classes. If you're curious about Pilates but aren't sure what it is or whether you can do it, take the intro class at this studio! What have you got to lose - it's a free class! And yes, I did sign up for a membership.

Pilates focuses on well rounded exercises to improve balance, flexibility, mobility, as well as strength and stamina. it genuinely was the best way for me to start exercising and it was the first workout that i was able to stick to long-term. theres a sense of community when being a club member. you see the same people all the time. your instructors get to know you personally. you are rewarded you for completing a certain amount of classes and you can add your name to a plaque. it gives you a sense of pride and improves your self-esteem. I genuinely feel much stronger, more fit, and more confident because of pilates.

After finishing that class, were all about to sign me in, which I did. After 4 classes into the journal, I talked to the front desk about the classes being very easy for me, and I need guidance for more endurance or if I should move into the next one and they asked me to talk to the teacher at that time, which I did, at what the response what rude and in front of the class with very high voice trying to make me feel like I didn't know anything. After that class, I felt very uncomfortable since I am paying to be helped to reach my goals, not to be screamed at or judged. I know exactly what my body needs because I am not new to this; I was just restarting because of a disease. I sent an email that I didn't want to go back, and I can pay a fee for cancelling before my 3 months, but was it their fault or transferred to another gym, and they didn't give me an option other than a 100-dollar cancellation fee and another month's payment. They are all about the money. I never got an email or phone call for an apology, but for sure, the money was charged immediately. This is one of the most expensive gyms I have ever paid for, and the worst customer service ever! I hope they enjoy the money!

I was told by my doctor that Pilates would be a good activity to add to my routine. After a few introductory sessions on a reformer, I went looking for a good Pilates instructor and discovered Julianne Scoles.  My lucky day! I was immediately taken with her style and demeanor.  Typical of "older" students, like myself, I needed someone with  patience, who didn't mind having to repeat instructions. When Covid arrived, I bought a reformer and Julianne adapted to my situation at home quite easily using Zoom.    I'm going on 2+ years at Morgan Hill Pilates and I'm beyond happy to have found such a good fit!"

Besides a concussion, i had multiple injuries to my spine and the accident brought on bursitis, fatigue and depression. I was desperate. Depressed and I felt like a blob. For my birthday, my sister bought me a 1 month package for Pilates. She swore it changed her life and it would change mine. My first class was with Julianne and I'm not going to lie i was a thinking "really! How is this a work out, I'm not even swearing and how wil it help!" 20 minutes into the class i was changed. Not only does Pilates help with flexibility, strength conditioning but it's also physical therapy for my body. Julianne and and Angela are so incredibly knowledgeable that i Look forward to telling them about aches and pains because i know they'll make me feel better. I've also grown 1/4 inch back in my height...Pilates corrects posture! I also have my athletic daughter taking class too. She plays field hockey and track and complains of chronic hip issues. In just a month she's corrected all her bad habits and learned the proper exercises to stretch her muscles out. Highly recommend this studio. Great teachers and people.
