Very lack of information and not good advice for the claim. Cost many extra dollars to fix bad information given by the daughter who is only person even in office. Rather than say "I don't know" they will give wrong advice and hurt your situation. Avoid and go with Allstate. Why, you ask, then all the good reviews? Are they legit? I have been with Vicki and State Farm for years now. First incident was a year or two ago. A rock hit my windshield, I called in. They said I would have to pay my deductible of 500. I advised them that my parents insurance offers a widows buy back program. If they have heard of that? I was told no. This last year another rock hit my window. I called in again to see if they happened to change anything or offered the window buy back program. They said no but that I could pay 5-8 dollars more a month for some window protection!! Why was I not offered that in the first place I'm not sure? And of course when I asked them why was I not offered that the last time I simply got a, sorry. A little over a month ago I got a new car. Called it in and was told it would be about an 18 dollar difference which I was ok with. I called in again to just verify they received the car change and left a message never received a call back. Today I look at my bank statement and they took out nearly $50 more than normal. I called and got this rude lady named Victoria. All she could say was it was a training error. I then asked if they normally follow up with a call once the changes are final, especially if it's going to be more than before. She had no answer. To be with an insurance company for years and to be treated like this I don't feel is acceptable. When I called to cancel she was very short and acted as if it wasn't a big deal. I was treated well when I came in and signed up (and got "upsold" a bunch of extra insurance) but when I had questions, issues or requests--crickets! She was never there. Today I had an emergency in wich not being a costumed with state farms road side assistance, I found myself stranded with a family emergency. Hours passed by and my agent called me back- after business hours making sure not only was I safe, but made sure that the tow truck was on its way. That's the type of caring heart she has. She even volunteered to come get me all the way from San Jose, which was where I am, and she's in Fremont. Amazing! Truly unbelievable. Vickie said that she would follow up with me, and she did just that. I've never had someone who did all of the things that she does. I would recommend her to anyone because you'd be amazed. It is not enough for me to write a simple review about Ms. Vickie Stephens so I hope that this is review is not too lengthy, but I would be remiss to not expound on the wonderful interactions that I have had with her as an agent. I first contacted Vickie Stephens' office regarding life insurance for myself and my family. I was definitely pleased to find that she was extremely knowledgeable of the various policies and options that were available to me, but her personal care and concern for me and my family as a whole is what really stood out. Not only did Ms. Stephens patiently walk me through every choice available, she even took whatever time necessary to ensure that I understood everything there was to know about what was being presented. She made sure to answer every question I had (and believe me I had A LOT!!) and further offered - and still offers now - personal advice that would ensure that my daughter and I would lead long, healthy lives! Now what other agent would go out of their way to do that!!?? Fast forward a mere few weeks after our initial meeting, I had the unfortunate experience of encountering severe water damage to my condo due to a fire in a neighboring unit. I immediately contacted Ms. Stephens regarding this matter and, again, she was there to personally walk me through every step of the process. She not only assisted me during business hours, but offered her personal cell number to me in case there was anything I needed that required immediate attention! From beginning to end, Ms. Stephens went out of her way to make sure that all of my needs were being met.
