The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I've never had a problem getting a copy of my prescription here. I'm very grateful that they are being very cautious about COVID. Patients are allowed in just in time for their appointment, you're asked to wash your hands first thing, masks are required for staff and patients, and they take care to keep everyone at a safe distance.

We felt good about Tommy Anderson during his home visit and signed a contract to begin care on Monday, November 10, 2025. During our home visit with Tommy, it was emphasized several times about their extensive background checks of their caregivers and the contract even went further to say that they evaluated caregivers in other ways, such as psychological testing. The very first night, a caregiver came into our home, whom we liked immediately, but we discovered that she stole four diamond rings from my mother and my father's University of Alabama A club ring. We filed a police report and after 48 hours of me pleading and appealing to this caregiver, she returned the rings to me at my home. When we discovered that the rings were missing, we immediately did a simple Google search and found two mug shots of this caregiver and the police told us she had ten or more prior arrests, and that this company had dropped the ball. She had arrests as far back as 2021 until recent. I was told by Tommy and another employee that they did not understand why those did not show up on their background check. What an insult to my intelligence. Please beware of Home Care Assistance, because they obviously did not vet this employee at all.

By Sunday I had received a text message offering me a Monday afternoon appt. Wow! By Monday morning I noticed the crown right next to it was wiggling and it fell off while Dr. Shedd was assessing the first crown! He and Jessica listened to my timeline of problems with the crowns and offered me options. I chose to have them re-cemented and I can say my bite feels better than before! Maybe this explains all the morning migraines I have been waking with that started after the crowns were installed since I am a clencher. Time will tell. So grateful to have found this office!

I had a visit where a painful rash had developed across several areas of my body. The initial…read moremedicince prescribed alleviated pain but the rash was not getting better and a new medicine was prescribed which cleared up the rash completely. The rash seems to have originated as a reaction to a common, very popular brand of anti-perspirant. While reviewing my skin condition, Dr. Hesterman checked out a mole which seemed to be changing and performed an immediate biopsy then submitted the tissue to a lab for review. A skin cancer was detected and I have received further treatment and review to make sure no further issues developed. Dr. Hesterman and her staff have been very professional and supportive as well as effective in their efforts throughout my treatments. I am very pleased with her and her office staff.

I appreciate the expertise, attention to detail, and their assertiveness in keeping up with the latest dental practices. They are upfront when a lab does not build items the way they were supposed to and are willing to work to get things right. Their integrity and dental ethics set them apart.
