Great trip with Zu to Sierra Chincua - kept things interesting and lively. The day was full of exciting things, and the butterfly visit was just a part of a great tour.

This was an amazing tour. Even though it rained all morning. Irazu made the best of the tour for all of us! Between the pickup being smooth; and the whole adventure it was fun! The drive is long but from the start we had an ice breaker to get to know each other! It was so much fun with 2 truths and 1 lie! Before our hike we were talking about foods we have tried and love and I actually mentioned how I didn't find atolé de guyaba. Irazú made it a point to find it along the way for me and the group and miracles did happen so I bought one for each person on the bus to try! Once we got to the butterfly migration tour it was somewhat of a hike- bring sneakers, pack a waterproof/windproof jacket or poncho (they also sell them before the tour if it does rain). Also note there are horses you can get on if you do not hike; but the hike is beautiful. Now based on the day the butterflies would either be flying around or as in our case due to the rain just attached to the trees hiding their wings as best as they can. The butterflies were beautiful!! From that tour, we went into the local town of angangueo. Here we had the local mole on chicken: the red mole and guyaba mole!! Both were amazing and the local beer that is made in town! We went to see the local axolotyl. This was like a scene from a disney movie. The older woman had the shop close we knocked and with her sweet voice in Spanish asked if we would like to view her animals! Small cute shop with a few items to purchase. Please note she seems to be partially or fully blind; but fully sweet and kind. This was the end of our tour and started our route back to the city. Just note this will be an all day tour so do not have anything booked even for dinner unless it's set really really late due to not arriving back to CDMX until 9 pm.

Great tour!! Highly recommend!! My wife and I were in Cancun in December of 2022. We booked the private Chichen Itzá and Cenote tour. Our guide Mischel was great!! He was professional and fun!! He gave great historical info and gave an fun tour!! I would highly recommend the tour and super highly recommend Mischel as the tour guide!! The drive is approximately 3 hours each way to Chichen Itzá. The SUV was nice, new and comfortable. Lunch good but not great. The day was long. Take your bathing suits if you plan to swim in the Cenote. Bring sunscreen. Cold waters were provided. Please be prepared to tip the wait staff at the restaurant . . . smh . . . I saw several people not tipping (lunch was paid for as part of tour but the tip is not). Please also tip the guide if you feel they have provided a great service which our guide did! Enjoy!!!

We had a day in paradise at Tolantongo springs and were so grateful to have Sal as our driver and guide for the day! The pools, the cave and the river were magical, and Sal was so knowledgeable and wonderful with our kids, too. Vibe Tours was very responsive, personal and pleasant. This was the highlight of our trip to Mexico City!

My husband and I visited Cancun in January 67, 2022, and booked a private tour to see Chichen Itza, the cenotes, and Valladolid. It was the best tour we've ever had. Our tour guide, Nef was FABULOUS. He picked us up at our resort on time. He opened the doors for us, and asked right off if the AC was at a comfortable level for us. He briefly let us know how the day would go, but basically, it was open to us how long and where. We made stop for breakfast and then were off. He started the ride with his expansive knowledge of the area, Merida (his hometown), Valladolid, and the Yucatan. His lively telling of the history, culture and the people brought the this beautiful country to life. He peppered the history with witticism and humor. He was gracious and professional and made us completely comfortable and made us fall in love with Mexico and its rich history. He was very engaging and he offered to take photos and not just one, but many! He gave tips and advice too and answered our questions. He was so good, other tourists who didn't have guides, listened in! Toward the end, he surprised us with a photo at Chichen Itza that we would not have known about. We will definitely book with Vibe Adventures again, and we will definitely return to this beautiful country, Mexico and continue to immerse ourselves and expand our knowledge of this its history and culture and people. And we hope to see Nef again, too, and hope he continues with his passion of history and people. (He could write a book and it would sell fast!) We feel as though we made a friend.

We met the tour group at the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral and proceeded with the walking tour to the surrounding areas. The tour group was around 8 individuals and the tour was conducted in English. Emiliano was an excellent guide who not only knew the detailed ins and outs of the city and its history but also was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife did a lot of research before booking this tour and was a little hesitant due to its low cost ($15 per person) relative to other tours, however, our expectations were blown away from the beginning as Emiliano deftly answered all of our questions and provided a great base of knowledge on how the city was formed. I'd recommend you bring some bottled water for the tour...it got quite hot during our 3-hour walk. If you have kids with you like we did, bring some snacks too:) You can purchase water or thirst-quenching drinks from some of the vendors or stores around the tour route. Also, if you are pressed to go to the bathroom, the tour guide will point you to some stores with clean restrooms. Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this walking tour if you happen to be in Mexico City and have 3 hours to spare...we learned a lot!

She took me to a couple of very hip and fun art galleries, popped in to a restaurant to see some great murals on the walls, ran in to an artist working on a mural and talked with him, went to a book store, and landed in a local bar for a cocktail. Since I was solo it was a perfect private tour and I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. Laura really knows the area, recommended a great restaurant, and it was a pleasure to get to know her and this area of Mexico City. I highly recommend her.

While I am an uber-researcher, I knew I wouldn't be able to give her the goods like a real local would - and that's where Laura and the Walk It Tour waltzed right in. We started our 5 hour La Roma and Condesa Tour in a back room of La Broka restaurant, where Laura set up a private wine tasting with Chef Cesar and his crew. Glowing with delicious Mexican wine and a taste of citrusy refreshing ceviche, we walked through the bohemian La Roma side streets. The entire time Laura would call attention to street art, architecture, and quirky shops that my wife went crazy for. I felt my wife and Laura bond like long lost best-friends and it made me smile to see her this happy. Another highlight was going through the trendy Mercado Roma, where we sampled some treats (including grasshoppers!), picked up coffee, jams, and salsa. Condesa felt more residential than it's more Bohemian neighbor of La Roma, but Condesa's many parks, tree-lined streets, and Art-Deco structures made it a wonderful visit. Laura set up a private art tour at the Advent Design building. We saw some unique pieces and installations and met some lovely people, including an artist. Nearing the end of the tour, Laura walked us to a special one-day art-fair called The New Society where 50 modern creatives showcased their crafts, art, fashion, and wares in a buzzing vibe where Mexico City's beautiful people mingled. My wife was in heaven. So if you are looking for a specialized, informative tour of La Roma and Condesa - Walk It is it. My wife still talks about the tour to this day and Laura was a huge part of it. Laura is the perfect guide - smart, hip, funny, positive, and passionate. Even though she is originally from New Zealand, she is just like us - someone who has come to Mexico City and through the people, food, art and it's racing pulse - has fallen in love with it.

I booked the "Essentials" Mexico City street taco tour, but they had other street taco tours including one for after hours, one in a Mercado, and other spots around city. Our tour guide was Natalia, and she was the best! Getting to the meeting spot was a bit of a challenge due to a march going through downtown, so Natalia contacted me immediately to coordinate a different way of meeting with the group. She has a culinary background and is a food writer, so she had a wealth of knowledge about Mexican tradition and culture through the lens of food. I appreciated how mindful she was of my pork aversion. She helped provide alternatives for places that served pork so that I could try things within my dietary preferences. Pro tips: skip on breakfast and go to the tour hungry. The tour went above and beyond I expected. I knew that 6 taco stops were part of the tour, but we had a break at a pulqueria and a churreria. It's a lot of food in a 3-hour span. What's also cool about the tour was that we tried 6 different kinds of tacos. My personal favorites were the tacos from Los Provolones (1st stop), deep fried chile relleno taco from the 2nd stop, and tlacoyos from the 3rd stop. The tlacoyos were particularly unique as they were blue corn tortillas stuffed with fava beans and topped with nopales (cactus) and cheese.

TAKE. THIS. TOUR…read more If like me, one of the primary draws of Mexico City is the legendary dining and culinary options, then I do suggest that you start your trip with a street food tour and you book it with the the amazing Club Tengo Hambre. At three to four hours and with as many as 8 visits to a wide variety of street food options, it's truly a bargain. My particular visit was a tour of the Centro Historico neighborhood and because of Mariana - our amazing guide - the tour became so much more than an exploration of the amazing street food of Mexico City. I walked away with a much better understanding about the history of the neighborhood, the culture of Mexico City, and the country's food systems. Tour highlights include: 1. Stops at best street food options among the thousands in Mexico City - especially for quality of ingredients and food safety - that highlights a solid range of traditional street foods; 2. Visits to traditional markets ranging from exclusive places where Mexico City's top chefs source their top quality ingredients (you'll get to sample exotic fruits and other items from Mexico's bounty) to places popular for their food stalls that are packed to the gills (more sampling, of course); and 3. Time spent touring a complex and intimidating neighborhood with a fantastic guide and with a small group of other food lovers. The street food tour and time spent with Club Tengo Hambre is a highlight of a visit to Mexico City. Try to schedule this tour as early as possible in your trip. I recommend this for a few reasons. First, it's best to begin a trip to Mexico City by visiting the oldest part of the City and the tour takes you to the Centro Historico and hits many of the key sites. Next, especially if you are any sort of food tourist, it's great to start with street food, which is really represents the heart of a city's culinary scene. The history, markets, and street food helped contextual later visits to places like Pujol, Quintonil, and Amaya. Finally, you'll hit some amazing vendors and it's best to know about them early in your trip to allow you to go back for more.
