This time around I noticed video games you can play, there was a kids playground inside, fun am sure for the kiddos & moms hoping to keep the kids from running around. Going through security was quick & easy, you can move around easily as sings are clear & easy to follow for such a busy airport it really runs well, nice & clean & at least everyone we interacted with with nice & friendly.

We were dropped off by our UBER-taxi and got in line. We had our documents and passports ready for processing. As soon as we got to the desk, we were handed our room keys and informed that our room was indeed ready. As we only had carry-on bags, they did not confiscate our bags for screening. Our bags did get screened upon entry into the cruise port but did not get taken for further screening. Other cruise passengers whose luggage was taken, did get their bags returned to them in the hallway of their rooms. While the line was long, it was manageable and there was air conditioning inside the building along with restrooms, a gift shop, and lots of seating for the travel-weary. The place was organized and I'm glad we showed up at the time we chose because we were ushered in without complaint. It took us about 30 minutes to get through as planned. As soon as we got onboard, we started our cruise vacation.

The staff is superb and helped us the moment we arrived especially with our one year old daughter. Do not miss the morning breakfast buffet! So many things you can try - ranging from tuna sandwiches, omelettes, avocado toasts, salads, cheese, even various juices (kale, apple, carrot) along with your more typical items (yogurt, baked goods). We were also able to try out Virens restaurant last minute when we arrived and they do have high chairs for young toddlers. Our hotel room was a one bedroom, and everything is well though out and efficient. there is plenty of storage space as well as play space for our daughter. The place is also located near supermarkets and a Zara if anyone is interested. We really needed fresh milk which we were able to find a local grocery store right across the street that was pointed out by the friendly staff. The rooftop bar and scenery is very nice- you can see la Sagrada Familia. They also have a pool which is not very big, but still modern and clean looking

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in early May before we boarded a cruise…read more I love the fact that this property is close to the touristy areas but NOT in the touristy areas. It's quieter and less 'hustle and bustle'. Plus there is a metro entrance about a block away (if that far). There are also 2 small grocery/market stores on the same street (not far away) as the entrance to Almanac if you want to pick up some snacks and drinks for your room. The property itself is upscale, modern and very zen-like. It's also not a big property so it rarely felt crowded. The staff is professional and ready to help. The rooftop bar and pool are small, but lovely and quite peaceful. We enjoyed a few hours after running around poolside with a sangria to rest up before heading out to more evening adventures. The restaurant (Virens) is Fantastic! They have plant-based dishes as well as meat dishes. So, something for virtually everyone as far as I could tell. Unless of course, you are a super picky, non-adventurous eater that only eats plain hamburgers then you'd be better off going elsewhere. I would definitely stay at Almanac if I find myself back in Barcelona.

We spent the day around town and headed up here at around 8pm, that made for some great views of Barcelona near sunset and nighttime. The ride is super quick you get to the top where the castle is and you have great vantage points for shots of the city below. Ofc there is ample opportunities for great photos while in the cable cars! Be mindful you may not have great phone service up there so as the lady said next time she screen shotting the barcodes ahead of time. They do have ticket booths on site though so you could buy them at the window. I'm not sure if the price is different there or not. Well worth it!

The views of Barcelona city alone were gorgeous & I'm happy we went near sunset time to capture some beautiful photos. We went around 8pm, hopped off to get some flicks, then walked back to hop on the last departure (8:45pm). They close at 9pm. Make sure to take screenshots of the tickets before going up to redeem the tickets; I didn't have the best service and had to wait a few minutes for the app to load the ticket barcodes. Can also buy the tickets there I believe!

Good location and comfortable rooms…read more Visiting Barcelona for vacation we needed a place that was located close to a few of the sites we wished to visit. Ayre Hotel Caspe is located within the walking distance of a number of interesting sites including La Sagrada Familia, Arco de Triunfo, Barcelona Old Town and more. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as were the beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On a number of occasions, they helped us purchasing tickets for tours and gave us recommendations that were right on and very helpful. There are a number of coffee shops, small eateries and good restaurants near by and that is very helpful when you desperately need a good cup of coffee in the morning or a good meal at night.

I'm surprised that no one's reviewed Amister Apartments on Yelp yet, but it deserves a 5-star…read morereview. My dad booked this place based on a coworker's recommendation and I'm glad he did. It's not easily recognizable because there's no visable signage but the address is sufficient enough to get you there. The building is shared with several business. It's well secured as there's a code requires to get in the building and to access the rooms on the upper floors. I wasn't able to take pictures (rookie mistake, I know) and we've lived here for 3 days now so it wouldn't do the room justice. I highly recommend this place for several reasons. First, it's less than 100 dollars/night, which is a great deal considering its prime location. That brings me to the next reason: its location. It's less than a 5-minute walk away from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas. There are a plethora of restaurants and shopping areas all within walking distance. The hop on, hop off tours and Airport Bus all pass through Plaça Catalunya making it a great location for tourists! Finally, the room itself is well kept. The furniture and appliances are all modern and brand new. The bathroom is super spacious, which is rare in Barcelona. I will say that the shower is small (maybe 2' x 2'?) but it's not the end of the world. They offer a "cleaning" service but after staying 3 days we realize that just means providing fresh towels and throwing out the trash. Other great amenities in the room are an iron, hair dryer, and safe. I could probably go on and on about how much I enjoyed staying at Amister Apartments, but hopefully this review is convincing enough for any tourists wanting an affordable and comfortable stay in a prime location in Barcelona.

The room is like a suite with a full kitchen with washers/dryers also. Although the dryer feature didn't really work for one of the rooms - it wasn't a problem because we didn't expect to have a dryer anyways. The hotel is located at the heart of Placa De Catalunya. The rooms is as pictured and is very nice. The a/c works wonderfully especially since it was really hot this summer. More importantly, management is very responsive. They answered all my questions and also gave me a free laundry detergent when I tried to use the washer. They also have an elevator also so even though it is higher up, it was nice and convenient. Great experience overall.
