I have used Rachel for many photoshoots over the past 2 years (2 newborn, 2 Santa sessions, a…read moremilestone and a maternity) and every time her photos have been absolutely stunning and amazing. We had scheduled a secondary maternity shoot when I was pregnant with my second baby, but ended up having to cancel because he arrived 6 weeks early. She worked with us super easily on getting the money we had already paid transferred over to pay for the balance of our newborn shoot instead and it was super easy. She is absolutely fantastic to work with. She makes sure that you're getting exactly what you want and honestly by the second time working with Rachel, I just gave her full control over the photos and they still came out exactly how I wanted. With both babies, she went above and beyond to help make a custom photo that went with the theme in their nursery and both times they came out amazing. Her Santa Sessions are the absolute best. We had our first baby in 2020 so mall Santa photos were not an option and that's when Rachel opened up her Santa Sessions. We had always done the 5 minute sessions because with a baby, that worked best, but she offers 15 minutes sessions as well where kiddos can have genuine time with Santa that's great for older kids. she also offers other kinds of photoshoots such as family, mommy and me and a ton of others. We moved out of state before we got the option to do any other kinds, but I would definitely 10/10 recommend Rachel if you're anywhere near the Tampa area and need a photographer for any kind of event.

Again, I made that choice to use her as a photographer even though I knew the prices. On the day of my session, only Rachel was present - no assistant . I am not sure if this is a typical thing or not but I've read that her assistant has been present during other photo shoots. The pictures after edits came out beautiful and I was happy with the majority of the pictures. One picture my thigh was extremely photoshopped to seem smaller but did appreciate all the bumps on my thighs being smoothed out. I don't regret doing the photo shoot because I have beautiful pictures that captured my pregnancy journey and this is going to be my one and only child. Prior to the session, Rachel made sure to let me know when I needed a break... At first I thought I could push through but I needed multiple breaks and Rachel has snacks and water handy. My mom and the father were included in the shoots and Rachel helped with poses for each pic. I think that Rachel picked up that the hammock shoot was not all coming together as what I had in mind so she did offer me an alternative look to use which came out great. She ensured that different poses were completed during the session. Rachel even took a picture of my mom solo which she didn't have to and it was a beautiful picture. Rachel has a closet of beautiful dresses and materials to choose from.

Her assistant Abby was in contact with me the whole time by email and responded promptly. She has a sweet little studio out in Westchase. I think the only downside is the lack of natural light in the studio space. She does well with natural light as seen in her on location shoots. It would be nice to see how she could use it in her studio space. She had little outfits and hairpieces already styled, and I was absolutely thrilled with the fresh flowers surrounding the bath. She and her assistant were fantastic in ensuring Skylar would sit up well on her own and in getting her to look. I know how it can be with photographers where they don't want mom or dad calling their kid because they won't look at the camera, so I stayed quiet. It was apparent near the end that I could have been helping, I wish she told me in the beginning that it was okay to get Skylar's attention in that way because I think we would have gotten more facial expressions from her that way. I had my gallery in two weeks' time and the images were incredible. She did a sneak peek just later that day, and it was so perfect I was in tears. I would definitely consider Kelly for a future newborn session should I need one!
