The name no longer matches their services. I don't even come here for 1 thing anymore. Used to get gas, snacks, $ and payment services, and smokes, 3-4 visits a week, like others once did. Lucky that their are more lower priced places but sucks that they are further away but the customer service and services available make it worth going to...a real 1 Stop for everything Gas & Markey

Tequila selection not only rivals, but surpasses most any liquor store I've seen…read more Nice selection of beer at prices lower than I'm used to on Stone, Rogue, Ballast Point. etc. Tons of rum but only two kinds of cachaca....and not the good kind. However, most liquor stores are far behind in carrying good cachaca so I won't hold it against them. The dude at the cash register is a complete and total hoot. I love people with personality that appear to love their job or at least pretend that they do. He made me laugh and that goes a long way in my book. If you need ANYTHING in Ridgecrest, come here. I bet you'll even find something you don't need but can't live without...

I told her that I didn't get what I paid her for, and she informed me that I did. I told her, "No, I didn't". But, she just wanted to argue. When I informed her that I was going to report it to the BBB, she said, "I'm going to block you, you're not allowed to shop here, anymore." Well, that's ok with me. The same thing has happened to me, repeatedly, each time I have ordered my alcohol to be delivered-from THIS store, not any other stores. I'm so tired of paying for items that I never get. Meanwhile, she's pocketing my hard-earned cash

Kernville was wall-to-wall people everyone enjoying the Mountains, sunshine, Kern, river, and America's 250th birthday. James store was busy as might be expected on the big holiday weekend. I headed to the meat department too many choices. I decided on 2 habanero and 2 black pepper chicken kebabs to barbecue and a 6 pack of carnation drumsticks for dessert. The store looked great decorated and fully stocked they were ready for 4 July holiday. Shelly my cashier was super, all check stands were open very little waiting. Our barbecued kebabs Saturday night were delicious seasoned perfect and the marinade just right. The drumsticks hit the spot as well. Happy birthday America

Stopped here both ways on a trip to and from Reno. Plenty of staff working the first time around,…read morebut absolutely no one was watching the tills despite multiple staff walking by myself and another customer waiting to purchase some items. When a male staff member finally approached the counter he didn't ask who had been waiting first or anything, so despite being first in line I had to walk behind the person he decided was more deserving a service (another male). Would have stopped somewhere else on the way back, but they have a disabled restroom stall with a changing table and we needed to change our son, however the female working the counter claimed the water was not working and refused to provide a key. The story was different however when my husband asked in Spanish, so we were able to change our son. The claim about the water appeared to be a lie because the toilets and sink had running water. Like other reviews mention they absolutely take advantage of the location and gouge the heck out of prices. My husband purchased Takis & 2 things of beef jerky, and the total was over $50.
