The event was similar to Tucson Meet Yourself but on a smaller scale and limited to Asian and Pacific Island cultures. There were many booths and trucks where you could get food and drinks. There was also a stage with live amateur entertainment representing a wide variety of traditional and contemporary Asian and Pacific cultures. The event was a hit, so well attended that that was also the biggest downside. Traffic getting there was a nightmare. There were long lines at almost every food and drink stand. But aside from the crowds, it was a fun way to spend a Saturday evening.

Tickets are generally $47/seat (2024-25) and all seats are general admission unless you're a subscriber, in which case you get assigned seats. Everything is thoughtfully put together to pull you into the production. I just visited the last production of Dov and Ali, a beautiful story of people from different backgrounds, faiths, and ages who are struggling with reality and their true self. There are only 4 actors in this play, so each one really has to carry a strong presence, and they did. By the end, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Really beautifully done. Their next performance is Taming of The Shrew (an adaptation) which I can't wait to see.
