Always a pleasure dealing with the staff, technicians, and Veterinarian at this efficient OPC! Appointments required to see the Doc, but walk-ins are welcomed for most routine vaccination appointments, including for Rabies! The staff are friendly and attentive even when your little furry friends don't want to be at the clinic, and make things go by so much more smoothly. Expect long waits during peak hours but be patient with the staff and you'll be satisfied with the outcome!

Great Clinic! I Been coming Here for the last few years to get my little Bichon Frise Fjord Ziggy (he was a rescued and that what they told me) teeth clean after my other Bichon died years ago within days of getting his teeth clean. We saw Dr. Moore for a couple years and been seeing Dr. Starr last year or so. Both are knowledgeable, personalable and kind. Everyone in the Clinic have always been wonderful and helpful. The price is super reasonable as well. Would recommend and will come back.

I went here for my dogs teeth cleaning- all seemed well but his gums have become extremely inflamed. I contacted the vet numerous times and no one will answer my emails. The first time i went it was fine but this time around it's done more damage than good. I do not recommend this place. It'll end up costing you a lot more than the advertised price because of post complications.

Best vet experience I've ever had! Every staff member I interacted with was kind and genuine. Dr. Moore is great. After my dog's pre-dental exam, she explained everything thoroughly and gave helpful recommendations. She made my day when she said "You're doing great mom" haha I worry sometimes if I'm not doing enough for my pup. The dental cleaning itself was a smooth and easy process, very upfront. Clinic is clean. This is also the first time in my experience with vets where they didn't muzzle him or act like he was aggressive. He's a big, anxious boy, and he cries when left alone, but no one made me feel bad. He's a gentle giant. They were so reassuring. Love love it there.

We switched over to VOPC after our previous vet became too expensive and began to feel very transactional. VOPC is fantastic and one of the few clinics that does walk-in vaccines without having to book an exam. Even if you need an exam it's relatively cheap. Only reason we are no longer patients is because we are moving far away. My dogs are on medication and they made the move easier on us by writing us prescriptions, that way we can get them refilled elsewhere while we look for another vet after we get settled. I've already done research where we're moving and have not found a clinic like this, at prices like theirs especially. Highly recommend!

I'm so happy that I found Veterinary Out-Patient clinic! This is now my go-to vet clinic. I was pretty disappointed with other clinics which would overcharge and always put a ton of suggested procedures. These procedures I found were not necessary and hiked up the price. I felt like I had to go through the list and decipher what my dog actually needed, since they were not transparent. However, with this clinic, I have found an honest, intelligent and professional veterinarian. They tell you exactly what is going on and are clear when explaining everything. They have not added unnecessary recommendations. They are always sweet and welcoming with my dog, Sophie. The prices are very reasonable. Dr. Moore, Kathy, and all the staff who work there have been so courteous and kind. I have been here for my dog's check ups, vaccinations, travel requirements, ear infection, and professional teeth cleaning. They have always done a great job! Highly recommend. The only con is that they are not open on weekends. Other than that, I can't say enough good things about this clinic.

Before dental cleaning.

Had my 10 year old dog's teeth cleaned for half the price quoted elsewhere. No extractions needed when other vets said they would be.

Ask the Community - Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic

How much is a dental cleaning for a 2 year old dog who is 16 lbs?

How much is a consultation for medical certificate for air travel? (Dog Yorkshire)

I would assume the $30 office visit plus the certificate and any needed shots.

How much is an annual wellness exam for an adult cat?

All Dr exams, regardless of the reason, are $35.

This review is long overdue. I've been bringing my dog, Chelsea, to OC Veterinary for 10 years,…read moreever since I moved her down from the Bay Area. Chelsea recently passed away at 17, almost 18. She had such a long, happy life because of the care she received here. Chelsea was my baby, and I know how hard it can be to find a good vet. Pets can't talk, but you can see when they are genuinely cared for--and Chelsea got the best care at OC Veterinary. From the receptionists to the doctors, she was loved by everyone, and I am so grateful for that. Chelsea saw both Dr. Horn and, mostly, Dr. Nikki--both are exceptional veterinarians. We saw Dr. Nikki the most, and we had a very special connection with her. After Chelsea passed, Dr. Nikki even reached out to check on us, which was incredibly kind. She is practical, compassionate, and everything you could want in a vet. Chelsea also saw the groomer, Heather, who was very gentle and careful with her. Chelsea had back issues and was an older little lady, so it was comforting to know she was in safe hands. Sandra and Steve also made a big impact on Chelsea's life, especially Steve. They cared for her like she was their own family. Steve even called to check on us after Chelsea passed, which meant so much. I'm sorry this review comes so late, but I feel Chelsea would have wanted me to write it, and I want to honor her memory. No one enjoys visiting the doctor, but I am so grateful that we found such a wonderful facility to care for Chelsea. I loved her with all my heart, and after our family, OC Veterinary loved her most.

I took him to a different hospital at first, and the experience there was very poor and depressing. It felt like they were just doing business, not caring for a living being who was terrified and hurt. Three weeks later, Pepper suddenly stopped eating and began throwing up everything he tried to eat. That's when I brought him to Lee Animal Hospital. His liver had started failing, and the chances weren't good. My daughter and I went to pick him up each day during his three days of treatment, hoping he might have another miracle in him. From the beginning, Dr. Lee was clear and honest about Pepper's condition. I appreciated that more than anything. He didn't try to give me false hope or push unnecessary treatments. I never once felt like he was taking advantage of the situation -- he was simply being truthful, patient, and compassionate during an incredibly painful time. The rest of the team was kind and tried their best. Many of them were very young, but you could see they genuinely cared about Pepper and wanted to help. Even though Pepper didn't get better, I'm grateful for the integrity and care Dr. Lee showed, and for the effort the whole team put into supporting us through Pepper's final days. Pepper was a fighter -- gentle, loyal, and braver than any little dog should ever have to be. After everything he survived, he deserved honesty and compassion at the end, and that's exactly what Dr. Lee gave him. For that, I'll always be thankful.

My initial review will be short and sweet!…read more I walked into Lee animal hospital with no appointment seeking a quote to get my pup spayed. The front desk was so friendly, they were patient, thorough, and answered all of my questions (even the slightly neurotic ones lol) The hospital is clean, spacious, and makes both you and your fur baby feel comfortable and safe (my pup was happy as a clam in the lobby as I asked my questions) First impressions really do matter because it took all of 10 minutes before I decided to schedule and book my pup's spay. In addition their prices are super reasonable (and I've visited every vet within a 20 mile radius of this one over the past couple of months) I will follow up with another review once my pup has had her spay!

Although my dog had already received the appropriate vaccinations, he needed an updated rabies vaccination and an EU-compliant microchip. The staff at Orange Pet Clinic were kind and able to assist me with everything required. Since then, I have also brought my two other dogs in for routine visits as needed. I have consistently been helped within minutes of arriving. The wait times and overall visit lengths are typically short, and the cost is relatively low compared to other veterinary clinics I have visited in Orange County, depending on the services needed. Most recently, however, I visited the clinic with a client of mine whom I had referred due to a very poor experience she had with her previous veterinarian. During this visit, her pet was taken to a different room for the exam rather than being examined in the room we were placed in. We never met or spoke with the veterinarian. Staff instead assumed that my client's relative was the owner and communicated exclusively with her (over the phone). After the examination (which we were unaware had already happened), the technician came into our exam room stating that everything was fine, the bill had already been paid, and that we were all set. When my client and I tried to bring up our concerns and ask questions about her pet's apparent pain, the technician responded a bit dismissively, insisting the pet was not in pain. She didn't really seem to want to engage in any further discussion with us, despite the fact we didn't know anything pertaining to the vet's assessment. The appointment was extremely brief, and we left with more unanswered questions and concerns than when we arrived. While the technician was not overtly rude, her approach lacked tact and professionalism. Unfortunately, because of this latest experience, I'm no longer comfortable referring my clients to this pet clinic. I typically recommend businesses only when they consistently demonstrate strong customer service, quality care, and professionalism, and when I feel confident that those I refer will be treated with kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those standards, and it was disappointing--and embarrassing--that the recommendation I made to my client did not reflect the level of care I expect.

There are several issues leading up to the most recent but I will stick to the most relevant one. I brought my cat in on Friday (1/2/26) to see Dr. Gouda as she was not eating, vomiting, sleeping all day, and had peed once in 48 hours. She did a UA and X-ray and stated she was constipated. They gave her fluids, and an enema. My cat continued to decline through the weekend, she was still not eating, peed once, and was not drinking fluids on her own. I brought her back on Monday (1/5) to Dr. Louka. He seemed abrupt and stated her exam is fine and the labs he ran were fine. He gave her an appetite stimulant and said she is just stressed and to give it more time. To have a cat stop eating, barely pee and not drink for over a week to just be constipated and stressed was not acceptable. My cat went from playing and running around to listless and just curling up and sitting or hiding. I took her to another doctor for a second opinion. He was very concerned and referred her to emergency services. My beautiful cat passed away the next day in the hospital from SEVERE hypotension and shock from dehydration and severe pancreatitis. I am sickened and overwhelmed with grief knowing her passing could have been avoided.

I have a senior dog who will be 15 in a few days. I've never really had any terrible experiences with the staff or the doctor, until recently. My dog was treated for a uti that he may or may not have had, but based on the doctors quick visit with my dog, he prescribed him the medicine. I contacted him about a week or so after the medicine was complete to let him know my dog was still urinating on himself and I was concerned about pancreatic issues. He told me to come in and they would conduct a urinalysis. Perfect! That was complete and I was told I would get a call with the results the following 24 hours....that call never came. I reached out to the office about a week later asking for the results and was told, "it was negative." I asked for further information bc the symptoms my dog was exhibiting didn't make sense with the negative result. No explanation. Ok, fine. Even that didn't necessarily leave a bad taste in my mouth. A few days ago I walked into the office, in tears, asking to speak to the doctor as my dog has rapidly declined and was not doing well. As I am crying and visibly distraught, three of the staff ask me "well what's wrong...is it bloodwork that he needs?" I said, "no, I want to speak to the doctor, my dog is not doing well." They continued to ask, "what exactly is it" again, as I am visibly distraught. I told them I did not feel comfortable disclosing that information as I believed it was obvious as I continued to say my dog is not doing well and I wanted to speak to the doctor. I was then told to try to email the doctor and he was not available to speak to me. As upset as I was, I did email the doctor....guess what, I never received a call or an email back. I decided I would switch to a different vet as I am in need of guidance as my dog is not doing well. I contacted the office asking for my dogs medical records to which the staff told me they would email me. I did not receive the email. I then called the following day asking for the records and was told, "I have been meaning to call you, I don't think the email went through." Well, there was no way she was "meaning to call me" bc it was already noon and they like to drill into everyone's head that between 1230-3 they are in surgeries. So, really...they weren't actually going to call me back. Anyway, she resent the email with no attachments, amazing! Forget about having compassion, they can't even send a proper email! I called, for the third time, and this time I was angry and said I needed the email as soon as possible, this was absolutely absurd. The staff then proceeded to explain that she had a full lobby of people and she would send it later, to which I cut her off and told her to not explain further, I just needed her to do her job...send the damn email, it takes two seconds and if they would have done it correctly the first time, we would not have to go back and forth on the phone. Given all of these things, I have yet to receive a simple call from the doctor himself. I would have never thought in a million years that people who work with animals would treat pet owners like this...absolutely insane. No compassion, no brain cells either. Please save yourself the money, bc this place is insanely priced, save yourself the terrible staff interactions, and find yourself and your pet a different clinic.
