The gentleman who owned this place before he sold it.. to the new female vet. Was very concerning about my dog. She acted like since my dog was a pitbull she had to be put to sleep right then and there.. when my dog was hospitalized she was always laying in her poop and never cleaned. The female really didn't care at all. She was unbelievable rude and uncaring like attitude towards people pets is amazing... Very uncaring like.. don't go there if you have pitbulls she will be rude.. read more

I've taken my dog here to Veterinary Medical Center on Jebavy Road for the past 4 years; yesterday was the last straw! Dr. Sarah Esquivel was the vet my dog saw. A heart worm test was just done Oct 17th, 2023 and I declined one yesterday, Feb 7th, 2024. At that decline Dr. Esquivel curled her lip up at me. Then I declined any flea or tick medication until late spring early summer. The 2nd curled lip and disgust came from Dr. Esquivel. And finally I refused the new Lyme v@x with her insistance that ticks were out this time of year. In February? She really wanted to make money off me didn't she. And then that brought about the 3rd lip curl and a disdained grunt. That did it! I need the Leptospirosis v@x for my dog in 2 weeks and I got an appointment with Country Veterinary Clinic 6 miles away. What a rude awful woman just trying to make money and figures us patients are well below her status! read more

We needed to get our dog in and there was a two week wait due to increased needs for vet care for new pets acquired during the pandemic. The staff was exceptionally organized and we were lucky to get in on a cancellation. We saw a male vet the first time, and a female vet the second time, as our dog required a follow up visit. Both were exceptionally focused and professional; they explained the status of the dog's health clearly. We had the same two techs both times and they were great. The front desk staff was friendly. We had a perfectly fine experience - twice - with this vet and we are thankful for it. read more

I really want this place to be better than it is, but I just can't give them a good review. None of the people I have dealt with are friendly or very professional (except occasionally the person at the front desk). Some of the technicians actually seem bored and disinterested. When I bring my dog in for shots, they always want to "encourage" me to get additional drugs; drugs that are not part of the normal regimen. I really feel as if I have to do my homework before I bring my dog in so that I do not get talked into having more done than my dog needs. Unfortunately, I am going to have to look elsewhere for my dog's care. I would recommend that people check out other vets in the area. This place is not for you. read more

Vets are heartless and abusive with no compassion at all. Handles your baby VERY roughly. Caused mine to scream and scared him about people just from the way they handled him. He was already not feeling good. They DONT listen to your concerns. Charge you for anything they can get out of you. I had the same wormer at home yet they gave it anyway . Didnt even tell me he had to have it again in 2 weeks etc. What if I didnt know that? The exam was a joke. He was warm... didnt take his temp. He was wheezing.. didnt even listen to his lungs ! what did I pay for a exam for? Cost a fortune and they did NOTHING but abuse , hurt and scare my baby. Find ANY other vet ! read more

While their vaccination fees are very reasonable and one of the main reasons why I chose them...The way they treat pet and owner leaves a lot to be desired! While my first experience with them and their female veterinarian was pleasant even if they insist on things like blood tests even though you've told them its not necessary just the shots and examine and terrify you into submission by forcing the issue and then convince you to buy crazy expensive preventative meds afterward. My second and third visits with the male vet were not even close to being friendly, compassionate to my pet, or myself. The second time I took my pet in for emergency treatment and they were harsh and manhandled my poor terrified and already traumatized baby into submission! My baby is a senior and fragile but they didn't even seem to care! My baby could barely move all be it gingerly for days after the horrific experience! This third and recent trip for just shots I was praying for her and got him again instead! Same treatment! Not senior pet-friendly at all! No respect for the owner either! Like our wishes mean nothing! Three strikes and now I'm done! Going to find a gentler vet! read more
