Losing a loved one is difficult and Mimi our Funeral Director was a dream to work with. Sunset Point was referred to our family by a trusted friend who used them in the past, as well as a trusted funeral director in our home town. We are so happy we decided to select them to handle the cremation of our beloved. Their pricing is great and everything is done electronically which made things easier being out of state. There are plenty of places to choose from in Clearwater but Sunset Point is a fraction of the cost. We were pleasantly surprised to find their service to be top notch from start to finish. They are professional and responsive and put us at ease. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sunset Point and Mimi. They helped us during an extremely difficult time and made the process go smoothly.

When my Mom passed away this past Summer, I stopped into this Funeral Home and was greeted kindly and with respect. Andrew made us feel at home and took care of all arrangements from even our first phone call. You see, I promised my Mom she would be out of the hospital by the weekend, and while it was a very crazy situation, he didn't hesitate to go pick her up and handle everything without even a contract signed. Yes, even though this was probably one of the worst moments of my life, Andrew and his staff were at least the peaceful part of the whole process. While we never want our loved ones to die, and if you're reading this review looking for someone to handle everything with compassion and respect, I wouldn't hesitate to use Mr Winterkorn's services.

I am taking the time to write this review because reviews with feedback were critical in my quick…read moredecision making process for my mother. I came to Clearwater to visit my mother who went into the hospital, not expecting that three days later I would be planning her funeral instead of taking her back to her home. Unfamiliar with the area, I did a Google search for funeral homes. At the time, my brother (in NJ) and I were considering anything from a simple cremation with a postponed Celebration of Life to a full funeral. I called a total of four places. Pricing was all over the place, and after a drive-by to each of them, so was the look and "feel" of each of them. I chose Moss Feaster Clearwater because of the first impression I had with Jasmine when I initially called who then transferred me to a living breathing earth angel, Dylan P. I could write a book if I described every detail that Dylan executed during this overwhelming and surreal process. Most importantly was that Dylan's empathetic, peaceful, calming, loving presence, and availability, was precisely what I needed to handle this daunting and emotional task. My brother was tethered to me from NJ, and Dylan went above and beyond to assure that we had every question answered, every (beautiful) detail planned, and every extra thing that we weren't even thinking of (i.e. death certificates, social security, etc.) addressed. The day of the funeral was (sounds weird to say) a dream come true. It was hands down everything and then some that my mother would have hoped for. Every detail (harpist, flowers, video montage, prayer cards, welcome reception area, greeters, Pastor and more - all but the Pastor were INCLUDED in the price) was extraordinary. Honestly, the most important detail of all was my mother. I've been to funerals where I wanted to politely close the casket and say "thank you for trying". My mother looked as peaceful, and elegant, and beautiful as she could. I was blown away at the work the hair stylist, and Dylan or whomever, put into her makeup and hair. It was a priceless "last memory" for those who felt the need to view her. The list of extras that Moss Feaster provided goes on and on. What makes me want to recommend them to anyone needing to lay a loved one to rest is their unwavering customer service. I pray I don't have another family member in Clearwater pass anytime soon, but when it happens, I will hands down use them again. And if I'm lucky, Dylan will still be there. Grateful is the understatement of the century. And PS on the pricing spectrum, Moss Feaster was HALF the price of their most expensive competitor, and LESS than their competitor who did not offer the all-inclusive services that Moss Feaster provided. And the least expensive competitor of all (cremations only) isn't even comparable to the other three. If we had gone the cremation only route, I still would have chosen Moss Feaster without question. Thank you Moss Feaster, and forever thank you Dylan.

As my personal way to say Thank you, I wanted to tell everyone how amazing Moss Feaster, Dunedin made this terrifying experience. Every staff member we encountered was professional, with the compassionate nature of authentic Angels! Quite honestly, I cannot thank you enough, from the bottom of my heart, I will forever be grateful for the extraordinary service you have provided my family in one of the hardest times of our lives! After that horrible call that Papa passed, things went from bad to worse, "UNTIL" my family walked into Moss Feaster - Dunedin! Right from the start our family was treated kindly and with very caring service. Brittney was the Director and seriously went over and above what we expected. She assisted with simply everything (even the all the phone inquiries & rush that was put on her and the staff) as well as getting my military daughter back home working with Red Cross to the ordering of additional memorial cards. The service, call backs throughout the process was handled in such a timely, caring and considerate manner - we are all simply impressed with how they managed the entire experience with them.

I have helped a woman in her 50's who lost her home and I helped get her into a local assisted living facility and she had money coming in for her social security disability but she suddenly died and has no family or friends in the area. She has one relative who lives out of state and doesn't have access to her bank account YET but because they are not getting the $$ right away they are dumping her with another group outside this area. I called several times throughout the week asking permission to see her to say "good bye" and they stated (LIED) the family would not give permission. I finally got the number for the family member and she said this facility NEVER called her to give permission for me to view her. This family member called this afternoon giving me permission to view and they denied me at the door stating "you need an appointment and she is leaving tomorrow." I offered $100 for just 5 minutes to see her before she left the area but the staff member looked at me with cold empty eyes and said "no." I understand rules but when minutes count and can make the difference for someone asking for closure and to say good bye you CAN make exceptions. Not them, they were done with her, the family member and me, Heartless! If this is how you treat someone without family and $$ you showed your true colors. This was just another injustice to this poor sole who did nothing but be kind to everyone around her. I am a retired military veteran and have a doctorate degree. I'm not just some hack - this was really ugly and sad.

So I made an appointment. My husband and I carried all the keepsake urns and my Daddy in to Holloways and handed it all over to Summer. We were able to wait while she took care of things. The sweetest part about this experience is when she was done she showed us what she had done and assured us that his remains will be safe in each one. So appreciative. As you can imagine, this was the hardest day of our lives! and Holloway was there every step of the way in an amazingly kind and professional way. The day of the service went so smoothly with them. The media ran smoothly and they ensured everyone had a seat at the ceremony. I cannot say enough about this experience and this business. I suggest, if you are looking for someone to entrust your loved one with, go with Holloway.
