Said they couldn't do anything for me at 10%. Went and got myself up to 90% by myself. They told me they couldn't take me multiple times.

Everything was smooth sailing on the Veterans Adviser's side for submission to the VA. When I received a denial the first time I was surprised and heartbroken, but Stephanie spoke to me directly and settled my nerves by explaining that sometimes the VA will do so. She explained the next steps and what might happen even at the supplemental claim stage. When I received denial #2 from the VA it was not a surprise as the VA had once again not reviewed my actual paperwork submitted. Stephanie stayed on top of things and explained what a Higher level review might look like, reassuring me to trust the process. Fast forward a few months later I received the positive outcome we had longed for. Forever grateful for Stephanie and the team.

Thanks to his expertise and relentless commitment, I was granted 100% Permanent and Total disability in lightning speed--something I never thought possible!!! He handled every detail with care, kept me informed throughout, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. What stood out the most was how much he genuinely cared--not just about the case, but about me as a person and a veteran. If you're looking for someone who will fight for you, guide you with confidence, and get results fast, Tony is the one you want by your side. I'm beyond grateful for his support and highly recommend him to any fellow veteran seeking VA benefits.

It is very difficult to have consistency in your therapy when appointments are so limited with your counselor. If you are a working individual or a student it makes it even more complicated. The guys at the front desk are polite and nice, but terrible at relaying messages; therefore is impossible to communicate directly with your counselor since you cannot have their email nor their direct line. I know these guys are overworked; they keep taking clients under very low staffing. I know low staffing is out of their control, but accepting more clients when they cannot keep up with the ones they have is not OK. I felt obligated to quit after having such a difficult time booking the appointments and delaying my therapy; at times I felt worst having to relive it and dealing with it for two or three weeks until my next appointment. I always felt in a rush, and not enough time to deal with all the mess in my head. They say many things that they cannot keep. Therefore, I felt, though their intentions might be honorable; they were more damaging to me than helpful. But remember, everyone's experience is different.

Started strong, ended in total failure -- avoid if you value communication or results…read more I'm a veteran with a severe back injury that the VA originally rated at only 20%. I signed up with Veteran's Benefits Guide (VBG) hoping to get the fair rating I deserved. At first, things went great -- the intake was smooth, my case manager had a clear plan, and within a few months, VBG helped me get an increase to 50%. The plan was to file another claim afterward since my other injuries were directly connected to the back injury. That was almost two years ago, and everything since then has been a nightmare. I went through the intake process again, but never heard from anyone. After calling multiple times, I was told to "just wait" because they were overloaded. Months later, I discovered the VA had a new claim filed for me -- listing every body part imaginable and no supporting documents. When I finally reached someone at VBG, they admitted I'd never been assigned a case manager and that my records were missing. They blamed it on switching to a new system that "must have automatically filed" the claim and promised to call me back. They never did. I called again a month later, warning them my Intent to File was about to expire, which meant I'd lose a full year of back pay if they didn't act. They claimed they still hadn't received my records -- even though I'd already sent them twice. I sent them again, called again, and was told they finally had them. Still, nothing happened. My Intent to File expired, and I lost 12 months of back pay because of their negligence. When I called again, they said my case manager had been on an "extremely long vacation" but would be back soon. He never called. Over the next six months, I called every few weeks -- most calls went unanswered, and when they did answer, I was given one excuse after another. No updates, no progress, no accountability. At that point, I stuck around only because I had a baby on the way and didn't want to start from scratch with another company. Looking back, I should have switched to Veteran Compensation Services -- they actually answer calls, follow up, and text you updates. If you're considering Veteran's Benefits Guide, save yourself the stress. They will ghost you, ignore your deadlines, never call back, and cost you real money. VBG started strong, but once they got my first increase, they completely dropped the ball. Absolutely unprofessional and unreliable.

I will say VETCOMM helped me with getting one of the two corrected. the issue i have is they ghosted me then on two things they made mistakes on. one should have been obvious (i claimed loose bowls with the VSO they put it in as a new primary rather that fix the suplemental. i had to go to reddit to figure out how to fix it because they ghosted me after fixing my migraine issue (moved it to secondary). i cant recommend them because they were no help fixing the issuses that they had me submit. no even advice after the one cleared. i give them 3 stars beccuse they met their requirements by getting me 10% more (migraines and the PTSD fix moved me to 80%) but i did expect to get ghosted as soon as i hit 10% more. i wish i just had one more text with here is what i needed to do.

I do not recommend using Vetcomm to help you achieve your VA disability rating because they are…read moreOverpriced, Disorganized, Questionable business practices, and implement a toxic work culture. OVERPRICED: They will charge you $1497 for their "Advanced VA Disability Course (OTP)", $2100 (3 monthly payments), $2400 (6 monthly payments), $1795 (Other than honorable), and $600 for extensions (if you want to try a second round to increase your rating). What you are technically paying for is the online course/video; not them doing the work for you. If you want someone holding your hand (especially if you are elderly and technologically challenged) this is not the best option for you in my opinion. Also, this payment is due upfront. If you cannot afford it, they will pressure you to use Klarna, Afterpay, Paypal, Cashapp to get a short term loan from them to use for this product. These companies will run your credit and typically give you a decent rate if you have credit over 650 FICO. They do guarantee a moneyback guarantee if they cant get you a 10% increase if you go through their program unless you are already at 90% or trying to change your OTH (other than honorable) rating. In that case they will try 2-3 rounds and if they can't help, you lost your money. DISORGANIZED: One hand does not know what the other hand is doing. Its a very top heavy medium sized company where the CEO (Kate Monroe) rules with an Iron hand. The overall group is alot of nice folks (especially the few veterans they have employed there). You might luck out and get a sales person who actually cares for you, OR get someone who will just go through their script to find out how to sell you THAT DAY! They are under tremendous pressure to sell, sell, sell... Everything else comes second. Do not be surprised if you talk to someone who has never served, has no clue how to relate to a veteran but is constantly pushing you to sign up THAT DAY! QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES: Their whole business model is toting a narrow line between getting more sales while technically not breaking the law. They do this by selling you a product (online videos, etc) rather than services which only VSOs can do. Once you are signed up, they will schedule you with an appointment to help you set up zoom (going forward that is how you will communicate) and make sure you can login to the VA website. sometimes it can take up to a month for this first appointment which a lot of veterans find frustrating. Your second appointment (could be another month or two out) will be with a "claims expert" who will go over your conditions and see what you should file for. Your mileage may vary. I had one person who had no clue and another (Marcel) who was extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately I do not think he is with Vetcomm anymore. VA themselves can take up to 3 months for the overall process but Vecomm could add an additional 2-3 months (per round) for the overall process due to all the waiting. The good news is that once you have filed your LOI (letter of Intent), the VA will back pay you for all the time you waited for your approval (up to 12 months). TOXIC WORK CULTURE: It is very stressful to work there. You are under constant pressure to make sales. The CEO does not care that most Veterans, especially who are older, retired, on SSI cannot afford to pay this huge sum upfront. So she constantly threatens the employees that they will lose their job if the team does not sell 100 veterans that day (Even on days like Christmas EVE). So, even though most of the staff who work there are genuinely nice people, they cannot give the veteran their best as they are under contact stress to sell, sell, sell... They train how to sell, how get someone to borrow from their family, friends to sign up VS actually listening to the veteran and see how they can help them. In conclusion, I think its a shame that this company who had a lot of potential to do really well for all veterans chooses the almighty dollar as their main objective. If you are decent at technology you can do the same thing yourself by watching some good youtube videos, using ChatGPT/AI to help you and save yourself tons of money. If you are not good at technology and need some hand holding, this might work for you if you don't mind paying upfront, are patient, but then again they don't really hold your hand during the process; you still need to do the work - they just advise you on what to say or not to say. Other options to consider are Attorney, VSO (i.e DAV, American Legion) who are pro-bono. Also look into VeteransAI who I heard as 96% success rate. Good luck on your journey and wish all of you success!
