We live a good 1 Hour Dr. from the area, but our normal vets wouldn't see us without either a very steep surcharge to get him in same week or told us to wait a week for an appointment. So I was thankful to have a new recommendation. My Frenchie had done something to his eye, and it was rather urgent that we be seen. I loved the ease of being able to hop online and see what their availability is whether it be that day or further out, as well as being able to filter out that availability by your chosen doctor. When we arrived, the staff was super welcoming and kind. We had a room right away. The doctor was so sweet with my dog. Not only did she do a thorough exam, she was great about explaining each step, and each medication. I definitely felt like she was invested in the health of my dog and not pushing anything that I didn't need. She seemed very honest and forthcoming. She explained the healing process and what we would need to do as far as next steps. I would definitely recommend if you live in the area or even if you have to drive a bit to get there to take your animal to see Dr. Goode! My dog went from being nervous that we were at a veterinarians office to being happy as a little clam due to the care and, of course, the love and extra snacks he was given!

I called, they picked up immediately, and let me know to come in asap. My fiance and I came in and they helped Luna right away. Although I was terrified for my dog, all the staff worked together to help her and help ease the nerves my fiance and I had. After a day full of anxiety and crying, everyone said Luna behaved super well, and were so compassionate towards the situation. I seriously can't thank you guys enough for everything. Absolutely unacceptable experience at Surfside Animal Hospital…read more I brought my dog in with a BROKEN LEG and paid good money for what I thought was professional care. After taking X-rays, I was told she would be fine with just a splint and that surgery was NOT needed. I trusted that advice, because that's what you're supposed to be able to do when you go to a vet. Days later, I get a voicemail from Dr. Goren admitting that after "really reviewing" the X-rays -- including images they already had but somehow didn't properly review -- they now believe my dog actually DOES need surgery and that it may not heal correctly without it. So my dog was sent home in pain with the WRONG treatment plan because they didn't even fully review her imaging the first time? That is not a small mistake. That is negligence. This delay could have serious consequences for my dog's recovery, all because of a lack of attention to detail. What makes this even worse is the emotional stress and complete betrayal of trust this has caused. As a pet owner, you rely on professionals to guide you during scary situations like this, and instead I was given false reassurance that directly impacted my dog's care. I paid for professional care and instead got careless decision-making and a complete lack of thoroughness. Now my dog may have to go through more pain, more stress, and more expense because of their mistake. If your pet has anything serious going on, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or get a second opinion immediately. I would not trust this place with my pet's health again.

Then at home we noticed at no point Dr. Dodd examined my cat . She listened to my concerns about a fat bump my cat had under his skin and recommended cytology . We left to think about this costly procedure. She also told me I should buy the intelident chews for $16 from her office because the brand she sold was pharmaceutical grade and only could be obtained in her office . I did purchase it. Then at home watching the video clip we saw the entire time she spent with my cat was 6 minutes which mostly I talked . At no point she examined my cat . She didn't touch the body, skeletal, neurological response, she didn't listen to lungs and heart . Didn't use her stereoscope at all. Then I called the office and asked Liz at the front desk to forward me the medical notes . She did . In this record Dr. Dodd noted there was no heart murmur and lungs were clear. Lymph nodes within normal limits and etc. she noted things that she had not examined . I called the office back and told Liz that I was calling to give Dr. Dodd an opportunity to set things right ( didn't ask for a refund ). Hoping for a 2nd visit . Dr. Dodd called me back and said this office wasn't for us and she reimbursed the $80 visit . By the way the inteldent product she sold me for $16 is available on Amazon for $8. In good conscience I felt important to leave this review that maybe this office, not only is not for me but also is not a fit for other cat owners who are looking for a quality care.

Brought my pup here for the first time after she was stung by a bee in her mouth (she tried to eat…read moreit...*face palm*). I had called ahead of time to ensure they accept walk ins & explained the situation. The woman that answered the phone was amazingly helpful & informed to bring her in right away. Upon entering the facility, the vet tech came out immediately to tend to my pup and bring her to the back while I got signed in/up for the service. Once finished, the vet tech came back and brought me to a room where I was able to sit and relax until my pup was ready. She was taken care of VERY well & super fast! All the women that worked here that day were so amazing & sweet; even informing me how much they loved my sweet little pup! She ended up needing an antibiotic after they removed the stinger lodged up in her gums & given her an injection. The price for all of these services was less than $200! Amazing! I feel most places would've charged an arm and a leg, but not here! They made my pup their first priority. The establishment was super clean, & side note, had amazing AC on a super hot summer day! I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your pets here for any service they provide.

Last week we had a follow up appointment My little girl did something a few months ago and came up with a limp We had an appointment last week And here's the reason for today's review So the appointment was last week and our follow up appointment is not for a few more weeks But today the veterinary assistant gave me a call to follow up to see how my little girl doing To me that's going the extra mile taking the extra step it shows they really do care And I know they care I have an Akita and they shed year-round and twice a year they blow their coat. While mines blowing her coat now, and I can sit there for hours, plucking away and brushing away watching the mountains of fur When I take her into the office, the assistance come over and they do a little plucking themselves. It's very therapeutic.
