We ordered and paid for our pizza and I don't think the staff were overly fluent in English, and our Danish is non-existent, but that's ok, we saw the previous customer order and then head outside to wait. There are no seats inside, so seating is strictly outside. Waited on a bench outside. There are several tables with heat lamps near by. We waited for a bit for our pizza to come out. The staff actually deliver it to you outside. There is no order numbers or anything, they just remember what you ordered and get it to you. Once we had our pizza we grabbed it and walked over to the canal to enjoy it along side the water with our beer. The pizza was still hot and was good. I can't say fabulous. There were strips of sliced ham on the pizza but not much for tomato sauce. There were also a few chunks of pineapple. It was a nice thin crust. It was great to have a bite to eat, but I think that there are probably some better choices in the area. Overall, I liked the pizza, but given all the other food choices in the area. It could have been better. The staff are very nice, and I'd go back, but I think I'd try some of the other places in the area first.

A decent size dining area with the brick oven out front and in view. Open area so you can see your pizza being made which was cool. I ordered the Tartufo. The dough was light and airy & the kind that you make sure you eat the edges. The Salami, Truffle oil & just the right amount of cheese made for a tasty pie! I saw them slicing the salami, prosciutto pizza toppings. You don't see this often. Returned & tried the Salsiccia. Pepperoni, cherry tomato, onions. Feta, olives & rucola combined nicely! They have an ample variety of pizzas and the friendly gentleman (I think the owner) mentioned Prosciutto, Scampi & Margherita were the most popular. Will be back to try them all. Another amazing Pizza spot find in Malmo!

And the man behind Wascator, one of my favorite bars in Copenhagen, stands behind Italo Disco as well. But unfortunately Italo Disco wasn't even close to living up to those expectations. A few things worked out fine. The atmosphere was nice. The wine list was good. But that's about it. The food... nah. It just didn't work. It was boring. I'm usually a big fan of both Italian food and many small dishes (I love Osteria 16 a few streets away), but the dishes here were just so random. We started out with shrimps, carried on to ham and sausages and then mussels. And then two pastas in the end. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Several of the dishes lacked salt. Lacked a little twist. And when going out to eat, I expect so much more than boring and tasteless dishes all night. A small detail which made the impression of Italo Disco even worse: I told the waitress that I'm a lactose intolerant. Half way through our third dish she informed me that she had forgotten to tell the chef, and that the dish I was eating included milk. She apologized and asked if she should bring me a new dish. I said yes and then she forgot all about it. And for the dessert, I just got half a dessert. The restaurant had skipped the part including milk and hadn't replaced it with anything else. It might sound like a small thing, but when other restaurants in the same price range in Copenhagen can figure it out, it's just not good enough that Italo Disco can't.

The experience in Lyngby started out with realizing, that they use post mix for sodas and not cans. Post mix should be forbidden by law. It is awful, hence I decided to order my burger and fries instead of the menu, to which the woman behind the register replied: "...but you get the soda for free". Honestly this almost made it even worse, so I said: "No thank you". Unfortunately, I later realized, that this meant that I had paid 20 DKK extra (for not receiving the soda, that is). This cannot make sense! Oh well, luckily this did not affect my impression of the food. The burger was bland in taste, and medium cooked - or at least they say. Judge yourself from the photo, btw I do not have a problem with medium prepared meat, but this was barely warmer than body temperature. The fries were at the most average. And oh yeah the dipping, I chose bearnaise, had a hint of dragon, but that was it, and it was 15 DKK on top. A total of 129 for my food. For 109 DKK, I could have received a post mix as well. I will not come back. I will probably try the one in Copenhagen again at another time to see if it is merely the provincial location, that has ruined the otherwise very nice burger joint.

We had the wine menu which came with a boring white wine, decent red and a great cocktail. The food we had was very enjoyable and tasted great - especially the desert "citronmåne" - was amazing. The sad part about was that when finished I was not close to being full, which is a bit of a shame. Simply just adding more e.g. potato mos would have done the trick. Thanks for a good experience anyway.

We had the ox, fettuccini bolognese, mackerel, pepperonata, and the green salad. They were all delicious (the salads were as delicious as a salad can ever be). We loved this place and would definitely come back again.
