I thought I'd try a burger since that's pretty classic and they do have burger in their name. I ordered their texas burger and my boyfriend got what they call small ribs. When the food arrived I couldn't help but just say "Wow" to the burger. It was huge and had a whole chili on top of the burger. It definitely looked gorgeous! Looks can be deceiving though.. The texas burger has a fried egg, bacon & onion rings on it. How could it possibly go wrong? Well, the fried egg was so overcooked that it was almost rubbery and the onion rings were completely undercooked and doughy (not crispy). The burger patty was really poor quality (It was so smushed together that it made it really rubbery and gives it no texture). My boyfriend though his meal was ok. The meat was tender but the meat wasn't falling off the bone as ribs should in his opinion. There was unfortunately too much BBQ sauce on the ribs as well so it overpowered the ribs (BBQ sauce was too sweet as well). We both got potato wedges with our meal though (Ribs normally come with a baked potato) and they were pretty good. Pretty much the only thing I actually liked, and that's not enough to come back to a place. I know this place is new, so I hope they take the time to perfect their menu.

The menu has a selection of meat and burgers (hence the name) but there's also salads and children's menu. Had the ribeye with potatoes and it was well cooked and tasty. There's room for improvement, but hey it's opening week and I'll definitely give it a go again later this year.

Great food, cheap prices…read more We stopped by here and got 3 burgers(2 specials and 1 salmon burger) and a large fry for about $27 US. Which so far is our cheapest meal in Copenhagen and gave us a large amount of food. We also got some extras added to our order on the house. The owner seems to run the shop on his own and is extremely friendly. His hospitality and generosity along with the food has made this meal the favorite of our trip.

Everything was nicely packed and didn't shift around at all in our short walk. I went with the Mohammed Ali which comes with double cheese, double bacon, pickles, and fried onions as well as the usual salad and tomatoes. The burger was wrapped in paper and also put in a paper box to keep it safe. Unfortunately I'd forgotten to ask for the beef to be cooked medium rare, but surprisingly it still tasted great. The whole wheat bun was a little dry but had a nice, nutty flavour. Cheese was perfectly melted and though the bacon was not crispy, it was a good burger as a whole. On Monday to Friday the meal price is 89 dkk after 4pm and the lunch special before that is 69 dkk. It includes fries and dip. This is great for those of us who don't normally like soda or would rather have a beer with it, as the drink is not included in the price. The fries were fine and as for the dip, well, I just wanted ketchup. I spooned a little bit of chili paste into the cup of ketchup before I left, so that perked things up a bit. I like that your meal can be so customizable here, much like Halifax, only Burgerklubben seems to execute it better and at a lower price. In addition to serving only halal meat, they also offer vegan and vegetarian patties, as well as portobello mushrooms for a paleo "bun," so everyone can enjoy food together. The chicken nuggets are battered with pesto and fried to crispy perfection. On the side is a truffle aioli (mayo) for dipping. Oh. My. Gosh. Incredible. The fries were thick and crispy and also went great with the truffle aioli. My family and I finished off the platters pretty quickly. So delicious.
