If you're a 2.0 pet parent, looking for answers and a more detailed holistic approach to your pets care, look no further! I feel so lucky to have found someone so close to home(brand new location in Milwaukie,OR) that I can refer friends and family to Coming from someone who worked in vet clinics for 16yrs, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to explore ALL areas of veterinary medicine, not just what's mainstream. ‼Proper pet care should be taught, not told! We have been doing regular maintenance and can see how helpful this is to our dog. Dr Becky has always responded to all my concerns and issues immediately, she does not promote anything she does not believe in. It's obvious her main concern is the health and happiness of the animal. Our dog knows when we turn onto her street and gets so excited, its so cute and funny! I love everything about this place. I was a little…read more-concerned- when the first meeting was a zoom, but it really gave me a chance to share my concerns with Dr. Mandi, discuss her treatment thoughts for my GSD, and plan for our first appointment. Because so many dogs coming here are post-surgery or otherwise having issues, they're super careful to avoid K9-contact and so our first appointment was very low stress. Dr. Mandi worked with my dog to make sure everything was set for our plan. Thereafter we did physical therapy, where Trixie did as much PT as I did learning, water treadmill (which I thought was going to be a disaster but went swimmingly well). You see different team members when you come in so you get a really good perspective on different approaches to the PT/training (Trixie trains easily, me less so). They also are collecting all of the A-Team local providers here, including accupuncture etc.. 5-stars, definitely recommend.

Our dogs love the underwater tredmill, laser therapy, and the gym! They have so much fun with the talented and caring staff, and come home feeling rejuvenated and exhausted. Also healing arts helps us submit bills for pet insurance which really helps! We look forward to many more years to happy healthy dogs with their help!

I have been going to Grateful Heart Vet since 2020. I now have 6 dogs and 2 cats that receive care…read morefrom them, so it's fair to say I am at Grateful Heart Vet often. Over the years, we have been seen by a few of their amazing veterinarians. I have been very happy with all of the services they provide. The facility itself is always immaculate, quiet and calm (which is great for the pets they see), and its generally been easy to get in. Dr. Felton, Dr. Pavlich and Dr. Kroussaniotakis have seen my crew the most. They are all extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I am always impressed with their bedside manner and compassion. It is clear they all love what they do and the families they work with. Grateful Heart Vet is the first place I recommend all of my dog training clients and I'm so glad to have them to help me with my crew!

Order: Neuter and Blood work…read more Pros: The place is very very clean and the doctors were wonderful! I had to bring my pup in early because he got sick from daycare. We originally had an appointment scheduled to prepare for a neuter. However, that slightly changed when my boy contracted something so that had to be dealt with. The staff was professional, helpful, and accommodating. And the Dr. was un-phased, in a good way, when my boy came in for his check up. I say that because one of the nurses was kind of stand offish so it made it a tad bit awkward when we first came in. That said, we got that situated. Scheduled our next appointment for bloodwork and got that done a week later. And finally we had our neuter! The surgery went successful and everyone was super-kind and helpful!! Perhaps one of the best overall experiences given the fact that my boy gets pretty nervous with vets. Cons: No major cons. However, I did receive a quote for my neuter and during the bloodwork part, which is a separate appointment prior to neuter, they did bloodwork but charged me additional $5 or something. When I got to the register I noticed the discrepancy and they said oh when they were trying to find the vein they had to use a bigger needle, which cost me. Now, I am all for doing whats necessary but I expect to be communicated too and informed PRIOR to, not after making an executive decision and then charging me. Sure it was $5 but we all know how bills can add up at a vet!!
