I got a couple of the little lady necklaces (see photos) that were just adorable and unique. Never seen anything like these before! Also got a pair of earrings of flowers--the shape of a poppy, I think--and they offered a few styles and sizes of these in multiple colors. The shop lady said this jewelry designer is the designer for the Queen of Belgium, who, I take it, is quite fashionable. There were some great hats there and some gloves unlike I've ever seen before. There was so much packed in this little shop, and I'd recommend this to any #fashion lovers, or for those who appreciate arts, artisans and super unique wearable items. LOVED. Bring plenty of money, you'll have trouble deciding which items you are taking with you!

The shop girl was a doll, and this place had items from Collectif and Irregular Choice. They had a nicely curated selection of wiggle dresses, fuller dresses, crinolines, and some extremely cute novelty prints on knit and cotton dresses. A few pairs of vintage looking shoes, and a couple Irregular Choice more whimsical, undefinable shoes, and quite a number of wallets, a small selection of jewelry. I love how they curated the clothes by color. Also, in favor of this store, the fact that they had a variety of sizes that included up to 2XL, from what I saw, whereas lots of other shops of this genre, which appeared to only carry tiny sizes. Gregory is a superstar, and really works hard to get the customer what they are looking for. He talked me into signing up for the loyalty card, which I don't often do, because I don't like the promotional material that follows. We dropped in on a Saturday evening (around 6:15pm) and got lucky calling for reservations the day of. Highly recommend making reservations as we saw the staff reject multiple walk-ins. The service was respectable but sadly, there's no tap water available. The menu consists of starters, fish, meat and a "tourist menu" (aka. three course set menu). - Gueuze (€4,00) - a quaffable, enjoyable lambic beer. Got a hint of a fruity note (apparently grapefruit). - Brugs tarwe (wheat beer) (€4,00) - Flemish beef stew (€18,50) - our buddy enjoyed this dish. - 3x Tourist menu (€18,50) - this is the best bang for your buck as you get a soup of the day (tomato), meat with fries and salad (option of steak, half a chicken, pork chop or salmon) and dessert (vanilla ice cream, sorbet (ask if you're lactose intolerant) or profiteroles). We went with the steak, pork chop and salmon. Oddly, they didn't ask for our steak preference. It was cooked medium and was slightly overcooked. Pork chop was worse; dry and bland. Our friend liked her salmon. Fries were standard fare. Salad was overdressed and you barely get a handful. The best thing was the tomato soup which had good depth and came with bread. The vanilla ice cream wasn't memorable but the profiteroles with chocolate sauce were better. Nothing that will blow you away but okay. One of the cheaper table d'hotes we found but the food was hit and miss. Would I come back? I don't think so.

They also have outdoor seating if you prefer to enjoy your drink outside. The ambience is warm, cozy, and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a chocolate break. The service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. Overall, the Costa Rica hot chocolate was our favorite. It was slightly sweet with a light creamy taste. The Hazelnut Praline was much too sweet for our liking, and the Ecuador wasn't as smooth as the Costa Rica. We enjoyed the Costa Rica chocolate so much that we ended up taking home four bags. It was the perfect souvenir and a delicious reminder of our visit. :)
