I seem kind of incapable of walking past Verge without muttering to whoever I'm with that 'I'll just have a quick look', and before they've even rolled their eyes I'm at the cash register and fumbling through my bag for my wallet.
I love Verge because they stock a mixture of vintage, designer, and local labels plus loads of shiny things like jewellery, belts, and nail polishes. And no wonder it's often packed, because I'm yet to meet a girl who can't find something she NEEDS in Verge.
The Elizabeth Arcade is a treasure trove for those of us who enjoy haemorrhaging our weekly pay packets and waving our eftpos cards around maniacally in return for something lovely to adorn ourselves with and Verge is one of my two favourite Liz Arcade joints (the other is Violent Green).
Verge is a gold mine for dresses and accessories and it seems like it's being discovered by more people every week. Don't even try to resist walking past because you're only setting yourself up for failure. It's lucky their prices aren't too damaging in here or I'd be living in a cardboard box by now.
