This use to be a good local neighborhood conscience store but last few years I've noticed they will straight steal from you. I've gone in numerous times with same week to be charged different prices on 12 pack 805 bottle beer. Like A few dollars difference.. today ended it for me as I purchased some Thing and total was $6.99 and I gave him $10 and he handed me $2 back. I almost walked away before saying your short $1.01 which he proceeded to only give me a $1 back and short me my penny. Check your receipts and log in and check your bank transactions. Had them double charge me once, which I thought was just a mistake. My bank reimbursed me and all was good. A couple of months later, I went by there again and the same thing happened again. One of the younger males that works there is a thief. Almost 100% sure it was the same guy both times. I usually have to take several 4 packs to the counter and have them scan them to get the price while deciding. How difficult is it to put prices on products? Ran in here to cash in some scratcher tickets since I've never tried this neighborhood store. As I walked in to my surprise it was very clean and organized, well stocked with a large amount of alcohol in the hard kind! A large wall of bottles of any thing you could ever need. And a wall full of coolers of any beverage you could need too. I really didn't pay too much attention to much of everything in the store except that it looked really nicely laid out and well stocked for anything you might need in a small neighborhood convenience store. Mostly in the beverage sort of need and snacks. My mission was cashing in a stack of lotto tickets from my birthday and I chose to take it in a return of a new stack of scratchers. After returning to my car and scratching the new ones I won on a few and return to get more tickets, but this time I opted to get a foundation drink. You know scratching tickets makes you thirsty. To my delight they carry both Pepsi and Coke products and crushed ice!!! Another plus they have styrofoam cups (no sweaty cup) only 2 size both bladder busters and I opted for the biggest I believe it's a 44 oz. and they have buttons on the soda machine for syrup cherry, vanilla, lemon and grape to add to your soda so absolutely I had a vanilla coke. And it was $1.11 WHAT? The clerk thought I was a scratcher crazy lady but he was nice. My new soda place and scratchers, after winning a nice size scratcher I took my winnings and left!! read more

Our family stopped by the verdugo market on our way home. My son bought a pizza pocket and a peanut butter crustable. My son ate half of the pizza pocket and noticed that it was moldy, so I told him to throw it away. He moves on to the crushable and the bread was all dried out. I called them the next day to let them know and they hung up on me. What a total disregard for theit customers! I didn't even ask them for a refund. By no means is this a "market". It's basically a gas station without the gas. The parking lot is horrible unless you drive a Prius. The staff are all middle eastern, nice people and helpful, with the exception of the female. She commented on my Trump shirt and laughed. At first I thought she was kidding, but then others told me they had similar experiences. One even said he was denied service because he was wearing a Trump shirt. It's never a smart move for businesses to make political statements. Especially when blue collar Trump supporters are the majority of your customers. I went in there today and one of the male cashiers was wearing a 'Hillary' shirt. I'm really disappointed because overall it's a nice place and close to the house. Guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere. read more

It's not really a "Market", more of a fancy 7-11. I have been going to this place since they opened since I only live 2 blocks up the street. They have a great craft beer selection. The parking lot is the worst I have seen. Whoever designed this was not taking into account for lots of traffic and fullsize trucks coming in and out of that tiny lot. EDIT: I have noticed that they don't price their craft beers anymore or anything for that fact.So they charge what they can get away with. They had KRBC Pumpkin Ale, and it was $5.00 more than the KRBC price. That is not cool. So I will buy my beer from Savemart, since they have a bigger selection and not price gauging. read more

I come here often for the craft beer selection. They do carry a great selection, prices are typically not too far off from other stores. The market is kept clean and there is always someone behind the cash register. The location is great, the only downfall is the parking does tend to be a hassle on the weekends. Come here every now and then because it's close to me area of living, but the prices are noticeably more expensive then similar places in the area, and the staff is quite rude. They have a huge selection of craft beer and alcohol, which is a plus, and have many other convenience store items that appeal to the eye. The epitome of BAD service. The same item can be charged 4 different prices on different days. Do they just call the price as they see fit or do they try to pull a fast one on unsuspecting customers. It is unfortunate that this place is so conveniently located yet their business model is seriously flawed.
