Having spent a couple years in London, he knows all the best locations and the angles to take to get that right shot. He came to…read morea rather important, formal event hosted by the London School of Economics Graduate Management Society. I kid you not, people were chasing him around the venue asking him to snap a photo! He was absolutely professional and approachable. A few days ago, we met up for a second shoot, this time just me. Dmitry is a pure delight to work with. He's so friendly and carefree and constantly seeking to improve himself. He made sure I felt comfortable with him. Being photographed as a subject can often feel a bit awkward but Dmitry made me feel so at ease. I loved the smile I would see behind his camera each time he got the perfect shot he was looking for! I have yet to see the photos from this shoot, but I have no doubt that they are incredible. We've already planned to do another shoot in a completely different style. Dmitry is so passionate about his work and just a fantastic PERSON overall. If you ever need photographs done, I would highly (15/10) recommend Dmitry!

The food served here is good and well presented. The main venue is amzing for music gigs and this year it started holding 'dance' events for Cream and Gatecrasher. Only critism of these is the queue for the bars of which they could do with more, but the same can be said for many venues for this kind of event. Easily serviced by taxi and a short walk from the town centre. The views from the terrace on top (accessable directly from the Leas promenande) are amazing. They let you view the whole bay, across to France and the Lower Leas Park.

I had a work trip in the area and this hotel was the only one within an easy commute. While I'm not…read moresure I'd recommend for someone staying for a longer trip, Hempstead House is a fairly nice find for a shorter trip. Let's start with accommodations. The rooms are reasonably sized and the wifi (like the water pressure) is strong. I loved the shower and bath. As a guest, you also have access to the spa which is basically a pool, hot tub, and sauna. I had no use for the sauna as I stayed during the heat wave and unfortunately, my room did not have aircon. That poor little fan had no hope and this issue was probably my only concern over my stay. My rate included a great breakfast including hot and cold options. There is also another restaurant on site you can eat at. The breakfast was great while the other food options were average. I would recommend skipping the night the restaurant does Thai, however, given that there aren't a lot of other choices without a car, that might be difficult. Staff across the board was excellent. Lisa in the restaurant was so friendly. I didn't know what a lot of the standard British breakfast items were and not only was she patient with me, but made sure I gave everything at least a little try! The front desk staff and maids were also friendly and supportive. So, outside avoiding the house during a heatwave and maybe coming with a car, I would highly recommend repeating my Hempstead House stay.
