Had mussels to start and they tasted like they had been steamed in dish water. The steak on the bone was promised to be the best and at 89 euro per kilo should have been. it was tough and mostly fat. the potatoes were bland and we had to pay extra for cold sauce out of a bottle. The other two steaks were meant to be fillets but most definitely weren't. in and out within an hour, one drink each because they could not be bothered to ask if we wanted another. When asked we fed back our comments politely and the manager did not want to know. He was extremely rude and stood over us until we paid. I would avoid at all costs !

The owners son is the chef, and quite honestly, I've eaten better for less, and presented better too. The courtyard is fine, but not very well ventilated. The tables inside are in a very dark environment. I'm being charitable by giving it 3 stars. Some history is that the place had a good name, closed down due to a dispute with the authorites, and then reopened. The owner made his money in the early days of Calpe by supplying TVs to the new hotels opening up.
