It is fair to say that we were all disappointed. The service was haphazard. Although the owners spoke perfect English, the waitress was less than confident. When she brought the food she used the wrong name so the meal went to the wrong person. I specifcally said that I could not eat melted cheese, and did want cauliflower cheese on my plate. wrong. This had to be sent back, and it had been given to the wrong person. Fortunately, my family and I were treated by our friends, so the meal didn't cost anything. The owners son is the chef, and quite honestly, I've eaten better for less, and presented better too. The courtyard is fine, but not very well ventilated. The tables inside are in a very dark environment. I'm being charitable by giving it 3 stars. Some history is that the place had a good name, closed down due to a dispute with the authorites, and then reopened. The owner made his money in the early days of Calpe by supplying TVs to the new hotels opening up.
