La Piccola was so wonderful we ended up eating there three times. The service is on par with any 5 star restaurant in the US. The food was outstanding except for one item that I thought was too salty. Without hesitation it was whisked back to the kitchen and fixed. The ambience here is elegant, the service is excellent and the food is presented artistically like you would expect in a fine restaurant. But there is also a feeling of warmth and family that is shared with the customers, the staff and the family who runs the restaurant. The owner and head chef, Andre, likes to experiment. But he wants his guests to enjoy whatever he cooks up. So he makes it his personal mission to fix or replace anything served that does not met or exceed the guests expectations. He will often visit the dining room and greet the guests at the end of their meals along with his lovely wife who also hosts in the Restaurant.
