Hello neighbors, I would like to share my experience and recommendation with Johnathan Snyder with Vendor Depot, you will not be disappointed!! Jonathan arrived on time, provided excellent customer service and was very personable. His expertise was apparent when he had to disassemble our faucet which had more parts than we would have ever thought!! He proceeded to replace all with the new parts. My faucet was good as new when he was done. Jonathan also fixed the hinge on my bedroom door because it would close without having something to hold it open. We went years with it that way (crazy) but now the door works perfectly again. Kudos to Jonathan and we'll be calling again soon. Thanks for the fast and expert service!!! We retained this firm to help install sliding shelves, hang tv's and pictures. They were also to move ceiling box and install new chandelier. It turns out they could use hook to swag chandelier. Also we had some problems with size of some of shelves. They did attempt to shim but did not have right material. The picture hanging was not good they were not entered on wall or sofa. I asked for refund as light outlet was not moved. I also had to have painters repair damage they did to walls in new home. Owner refused. read more

Do not use this company for painting. Definitely do not pay before job is complete. Most of the work was good, but the painting a mess. The man dragged out painting a 5'x5' laundry room to 3 days! He broke the dryer vent hose but did not have the courtesy to tell me. He left paint on several sides of the appliances. Worst of all, he left areas with one coat of paint only. Having had to clean up and paint after him, I will not use this company again. read more

The idea of this company is great and I was really hoping to find reliable handyman service; however, my experience with my handyman was not so great.  He could not install a light fixture seemingly due to lack of comfort with electrical which is whatever at this point. The majority of my requests involved electrical so... send someone who is super comfortable with that. Unfortunately, he just left the light fixture and the screws laying on the couch. He did install my foyer light but it is covered in debris from the Styrofoam packaging.  I didn't remember buying a glittery light.  Upon closer inspection, it wasn't glitter at all but little Styrofoam balls.  I know his job was not to clean but I would think that one who takes pride in their work would try to wipe the glass down before installing it high in the ceiling.  The secondary bedroom ceiling fans were installed with one light switch operating the fan and the other light switch operating the actual light, which is perfect!  However, the master bedroom ceiling fan was not.  Why? It has the capability but your guess is as good as mine. The previous fan didn't have a light kit which is why I wanted to replace it. My thought is that the handyman just used what was already connected and didn't bother to split. Again that's my theory.  And where are the old light fixtures and ceiling fan? MIA. I haven't seen them since they were hanging from the ceiling.  I give three stars because he did more than what I could have done on my own.  I got this reference from my sister who got it from my cousin, that's three potential customers lost now. My sister's experience was fine but she doesn't remember the technician.  My cousin's experience... low and behold, it was the same guy.  However; in her situation, the owner was very accommodating and fixed the guy's mistake in hanging her storm door.  Now that I know that it was the same guy, I am little nervous about the quality of the work he completed. I hope that everything else was done correctly.  A piece of mind is everything!  I don't usually post poor reviews but it kind of put a damper on my moving into my new home. I was super excited to see my new light fixtures because lights can really change the tone of a room. You can imagine my disappointment when I saw the spec light still hanging in the dining area. Maybe the handyman just had one of those days... I don't know but I prefer it to not be at my expense. I was given a small credit for him not being able to install the light. I wanted my light installed not the credit so now I have to find someone else to do it. I loved the idea of the one stop shop for jobs. I don't know if I or my family members will use this service again. If I do and the same handyman is assigned, I am cancelling the appointment. read more
