Don't leave Italia without grabbing a Venchi chocolate gelato! En route from the departure lobby to the Schegen exit passport control, this Venchi branch is the sweetest way to say goodbye as you leave the nation of delicious food. Although the high-ended chocolates are expensive as expected, its chocolate gelato is surprisingly affordable that is at a similar price level as the Grom's "commoner gelato" Even though the gelato flavor choices are only variations of chocolate, you'll be bewildered by the wide spectrum of chocolate flavor that may be beyond your imagination! Every chocolate flavor differs by its darkness, its boldness, and its sweetness, so it's hard for anyone but yourself to determine your perfect chocolate flavor. Nonetheless, no matter what you choose, you'll love the heavenly creaminess that comes with your favorite chocolate! Also, this Venchi branch was incredibly generous with its scoops: Unlike its other branch near Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, this airport branch's mini size was packed with more gelato than the Galleria branch's bigger size! Anyway, I highly recommend grabbing a Venchi chocolate gelato on your flight out, because unless you live in select cities, you can't taste a chocolate ice cream this delicious once you flew out of Italy! --- tl;dr version: 1) En route to the exit passport control 2) Best chocolate gelato of many variations 3) Must-eat before you leave Italy
Need a gelato before you fly back home? Grab a scoop while you wait and wait and wait for your gate to be posted. One of the best gelatos that we had in Italy. Bonus: No waiting time as opposed to the hoards of people waiting in line in Roma and way less expensive than the Venchi in Manhattan/NYC!! read more

Absolutely nice cream shop need stop before boarding, all kind of flavors and the lady also very nice 冰激凌商店必须买一个,各种口味肯定让你挑花眼,没什么比登机前来个冰激凌更让人快乐的了 read more

Sincerely do not understand the good reviews for this establishment on Yelp. My spouse and I have been all over Italy the last few weeks and this is the least pleasing experience we have had. The gelato is okay. It's nothing special. The problem lies within the supervisor who served us. She was absolutely RUDE. Not the least bit nice. I was surprised to see "supervisor" on her name tag given the service we received. Not only that, but the serving size of the flavors was pathetic and the prices were crazy for the portioning. We both got different sized cones and flavors; it was evident with both the smallest size and the largest that they price gouge. As I previously mentioned, we've been all over the country from Rome, Florence, etc. and had great gelato with fair prices the entire time. Venchi in Milan is by far the most expensive gelato with nothing to show for its price. Very mediocre. This was extremely disappointing and would not recommend. read more

Don't leave Italy without getting a gelato from Venchi. The quality is much better than the stores in the states and the service is very quick. read more

When my husband and I saw this place in the Milan airport, we were thrilled! We did not realize this place was a chain as we had stumbled upon one while visiting the city of Verona. The stop in the airport serves a variety of chocolates and different types of gelato. They also have packaged chocolates and jars of their homemade hazelnut spread which you can buy and take home with you. Of note, they will also let you sample the hazelnut spread before purchasing, which you should totally do regardless...because, why not?! Ordered the stracciatella gelato with the hazelnut spread placed in the bottom of the cup, which is also a wonderful option. Sooo delicious! The only thing I can complain about is the fact that we don't have a place like this at home. read more
