He was 5 weeks old during the shoot, which is a little old for newborns, usually, but she was able to somehow lull him to sleep and get some very cute photos of him. She was also just the perfect mix of friendly and professional which is hard to find. Her work is great and I actually regret not having her photograph the birth of my newborn, as well. I have what is called precipitous births, which means my labor and births are extremely fast. We were not prepared for such a quick birthing process with our first child, which happened in the middle of the night, so the photographer I hired didn't make it. I wasn't going to make the same mistake again, so I called the photographer as I headed to the hospital. She had just left town for a family reunion. I was sad to say the least. She offered to try to find someone, which made me happy but not really hopeful that someone would make it. I was already in the birthing tub when Lindsey got to the hospital. She walked in and went to work. I honestly didn't even notice her until after I had my baby in my arms. We obviously didn't have any time beforehand to talk about what I wanted, and yet every image that she captured was amazing and I felt extremely comfortable showing them to my family and friends. I absolute love my birth photos and I'm so thankful to her for making the drive from Lehi up to the U for a client that she had never even spoken to. She has a life long fan!!!

OR maybe it is if you want to face your fear. Either way, Clint's Reptile Room is a well kept and clean place just off the main street in Springville. You pay a nominal fee-I think it's about 12 bucks-to get in during walk in hours and you can hold and love on all the snakes and reptiles, with the exception of a few like the giant tortoise. Nobody wants to hold that guy. There are several volunteers running the show and will help bring out the animals so you can hold them. They will also take them away when you're done. If you want a more private experience, you can book a private visit on their website. Or come early during the drop in hours to get the white glove experience. You won't regret it.
