Horrible scam, should be ashamed. Wife had a back spasm, she called they told her it would be an extra charge total of $250 for emergency service to see her same day. Guy did a bunch of random things for about 2-3 minutes each one of which caused a burn on the back then when leaving said please sign this saying we had permission to do the services, we said why didnt you ask before they said because we didnt want to interrupt you. I went to Velocity Chiropractor in Red Bank, NJ. I was treated by Dr. Kris Tardio. He sold a package to me consisting of PEMF and laser therapy. The cost was $5,500.00 to treat my injury which ended up aggravating my condition. I gave him my MRI reports and explained what was going on. He assured me that PEMF and laser therapy would help. So, I agreed. It was a terrible experience which caused me great pain and which led me to the ER. I have the ER report. PEMP flared up my conditon and they did not want to acknowledge that this could happen. Each person's body reacts differently to different treatments. Instead of trying to make it right and offer other services, they tried to spin out, arguing that my adverse reaction was asymptomatic. All I can say is to be careful. Dr. Tardio was not honest with me. Velocity did refund me $2,200.00 for unused visits. Velocity did not agree to give me back the total unused time because Dana said the appointments were set already. Kris Tardio was untruthful and condescending. Dr. O'Conner was also dismissive on my flare-up. Horrible experience and a waste of money for me. read more

Was referred here by a friend about 6 months ago and have been going consistently for chiropractic services with success. In past offices I have been in and out within a few minutes but they're much more thorough here. For the typical appointment i am usually receiving attention from their staff for 20-25 minutes depending on what my issue is at that time, heat, cool, massage, adjustment, etc. Read the reviews which is what made me feel obligated to leave this review. Since I go frequently and have to change appointments due to last minute work obligations often, I interact with the front desk more than the average customer and the front desk staff always answers my call and is always understanding and friendly. I have not had one bad interaction with them nor have I seen them have a bad interaction with anyone. That complaint is so far off from reality that It's hard to believe those are real reviews from actual patients. Real patient approved! read more

I would say the biggest issue is just not putting themselves out, not in person and definitely not on the phone--too busy with whatever is more important than patients. Incredible facility! I have so many great things I want to say about our experience with Velocity. It has been beyond what I could have ever imagined possible for my son and his then almost one year lumbar stress fracture. Nothing we had tried before had ever helped him at all, so of course I felt that he might never be healed and that it's possible he might have to live with this unbearable pain forever. I am so thankful for every single person at Velocity. Doctors, therapists and front desk staff were all absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process and extremely knowledgeable in their field. Having my son treated there was by far the best decision we made for him in terms of healing his injury. We had tried other physical therapists before and there is no comparison. They treated his injury with therapy 2-3 times a week for 4 consecutive months. He was also given Shockwave Therapy and PEMF Therapy (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy). State of the art types of treatments that you can't find just anywhere. They slowly got him back to full range of motion with zero pain and back to baseball in the timeframe they expected to do so. I want to personally thank Rachel, Christian, and Kristin. Every single person there is incredible and has been wonderful to work with, but these are the three people that we dealt with the most while going there. I also want to thank all of the staff for wanting my son to be completely healed and seeing to it that he gets there and for helping him to return to what he loves to do. I want to write this review by comparing it to my old Chiro place. First I want to say I LOVE VELOCITY!!!! I am so happy I found them and switched Chiro doctors. I was with my last practice for nearly ten years and didn't realize what actual quality treatment was until I went to VELOCITY. (The old place was wham bam in n out. U would see the dr for an adjustment n get a bad 5 minute massage.) Not at VELOCITY. The amount of work, time, and care they give u is unbelievable. I feel GREAT when I leave. The quality of care is amazing from everyone on the staff, and they are the nicest people you will ever meet. The only negative I would have to say is I wish the staff would introduce themselves to you when you are a new patient. There are so many people there it is hard when you have to figure out their names on ur own. If you need Chiro or physical therapy I highly recommend VELOCITY. Definitely 5++++ stars. read more

My son is going here for PT prior to knee surgery.. John O'Connor is terrific and is steadily increasing my sons range of motion in his knee..! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.. My ONLY complaint is the front desk... Although the girls are VERY nice, and accommodating, they can be a bit loud, and talk about their personal lives entirely too much. As a nurse, we try not to speak out our personal things in front of patients in a waiting room because it can look a bit unprofessional.
