I called in advance to see when was the best time to go in and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I went in and I was able to be seen quickly. The dental assistant who took my x-rays was very nice and polite; she would apologize to me because she could tell I was in pain. I then waited to see the dentist but the wait was not very long he did his general exam and referred me to an oral surgeon. I'd give this place 5 stars but since I haven't had any actual procedures done I'll give it 4 for the promptness and friendliness of the staff. Seems like a nice quick place to come get your annual cleaning done.

I have been going to him for a couple of years now for Multiple Sclerosis and I have nothing but positive things to say about him. He is thorough in his exams, he takes the time to listen, he's not like most doctors out there. He has picked up on issues my primary care doctor overlooked and addressed them. His staff are sweet, you can tell they are hand picked. Things are done quickly, they are organized, efficient, polite, and considerate. If you need a neurologist, he's your pick. I don't like most doctors, I adore this man. If I could give he and his entire staff 20 stars, I would.

I chose this office because it accepts my IEHP Covered California plan. My insurance card clearly…read morelists a $15 copay for Urgent Care. At check-in, I was told I would have to pay $75 because I had not met my deductible. When I questioned the charge, I was shown a printed sheet but was not given an explanation that reconciled it with the benefits printed on my insurance card. I declined treatment, left the office, and contacted IEHP Member Services. I then spoke with an IEHP supervisor, who confirmed that charging me $75 under those circumstances was not appropriate based on my plan benefits. Patients should not have to argue over the cost of a covered visit before they can receive care. Accurate insurance verification and transparent billing are fundamental parts of good patient service. Unfortunately, this experience caused me to lose confidence in the practice, and I have since found a new primary care physician. UPDATE: WORSE - THEY ARE FRAUDULETNLY BILLING ME AND MY INSURANCE FOR A VISIT THAT THEY WANTED $75 FOR AS INDICATED ABOVE. WOW. It took about 3 weeks to get an appointment, but I think the doctor was on vacation so that may be the reason for the long wait. The reason I waited for this appointment was based on my previous experience. I received outstanding treatment and Dr. Hamdy explained, in detail, the reason for my ailment. He did not rush through the explaination and provided me with a simple treatment plan to alleviate my sickness. The second time was more of the same outstanding service. Although my second trip was for a different ailment from the initial one the level of service and Dr. Hamdy's attention remained first-class. The entire staff was helpful, first-rate, and efficient. Only a short wait time when I arrived to see the doctor.
