This time it was less crowded, hardly any customers at all and I was hit by the boring environment. The room is long and narrow and doesn't seat many customers in the main room. You can sit in the leather shop or on upper floor (indoor patio). One thing I didn't notice last time was that the tabletops are made of leather! Upstairs - feel welcome to sit sidebyside in a long row. Naaah. One star for staff and one star for really good espresso though too cold, but one star off for boring environment, one star off for lousy selection of sandwiches at a rip off price and one star off for not accepting AMEX.

Lots of international breweries are invited and some of them even serve their brew on taps. Otherwise it is mostly bottles. There are a few eating stations - some of them sold out long before closing time. I like the festival but they can make a lot of improvements around entrance and opening. We stood for 40 minutes in line. The doors opened at 11.30 and still at 12.30 the line was horrible. Around 13.00 those with tickets for the seminar at 13.00 were told to step forward. Lobby was crowded and hotel guests didn't know if they were to line up or could step right in. It was prepaid tickets only, but they did the checking with pen and paper. No coat check but you can leave your coats unattended.

I stopped by for a quick fika and caffeine fix before starting my day. The cup design is cute, the Caffe Latte was light, creamy, and smooth, and I actually really enjoyed the Aragostinas. They're like flaky mini croissants but a bit harder and filled with a cream. If you're by the Gothia Towers, definitely give them a try. FYI, they do not accept American Express.

They have a decent menu for hot beverages and OK prices. it cost a lot less then most places but there still are some less expensive ones. Early spring when the sun is finally finding its way to give us sun starving northerners a glimpse of light and warmth tis place is perfectly located! Winter time it is just a hole in the wall. Indoors it is pretty cramped. But still charming. Does not accept AMEX.

Unverseum in Gothenburg is a nice little science museum that's meant for kids, but was fun for two…read moreadults (me and my friend) too. There is SO much to do and see at Universeum. It's almost like a zoo meets a science museum meets a planetarium. Each floor has a different theme, so it's very easy to traverse and do each floor in order or bounce around. They had floors for each type of animal to visit (Ocean, Reptiles, Humans, and others) They have shows in the Wisdome, which is a big theater that is in the shape of a large geodesic dome. This is a separate ticket you buy, so check ahead what is being shown and see if you want to plan a visit during your Universeum visit time. There were a lot of kids running around here, as I said, but this is an educational museum so that is to be expected. If you're an adult going without kids, don't feel weird about it because it's super interesting for adults too!

But it's still something fun to do (although expensive), and my sister and I decided to check out Universeum because we had the time, and there wasn't much else to do that worked with our schedule and interests. The highlight of Universeum was the rainforest exhibit. There were small monkeys running around, and they were so friggin' cute! The monkeys are free to roam around the exhibit and will walk right up to people and run around their feet--they aren't behind any kind of barrier. Despite there being special doors to prevent escape, be careful when exiting to ensure the monkeys don't get out!

This one is not one of my favorite since I like to buy paper backs and they have few o those. But then again, the selection in general is pretty good here. Paperbacks are SEK20 and hardbacks SEK50-75 for popular novels and crime. I never actual buy first editions or in other way unusual classics. Just simple crime and best sellers.
