Dr. Rosa Diaz Perez (Endocrinologist) is amazing. I am a new patient to the practice with Diabetes…read more I have struggled with finding a doctor near my area here in central Florida with experience dealing with Type One Diabetics that work in Law Enforcement and Corrections. Dr. Diaz has exactly that. During my First appointment, she got me set up with a new Insulin Pump, the Dexcom G7 CGM and got me onto new insulin. She also helped me with some FMLA paperwork. I was given a startup kit for the Omni-Pod pump *and* Dexcom G7 right in the office. Sat there and taught me how to use it all and then scheduled me for Blood work and a follow-up appointment. This to me, was a mind-bogglingly positive experience and unheard of. This is after coming from the Doctors that usually deal with senior patients in the Villages that spent 10 minutes with me and sent me on my way giving the generic diabetes advice without any treatment suggestions or Quality of Life Improvements. I had some issues with getting prescriptions filled, but I feel that was a mixture of my pharmacy having issues as well as the Practice having some miscommunications with the pharmacies. (Going forward, I am going to have all my stuff put through Amazon Home Delivery Pharmacy, I hear they do amazingly and have two-day shipping for all their prescriptions. Avoid CVS these days, they seem to have troubles filling Diabetic Prescriptions.) The Clinic gets five starts as the staff have all been superb, however; The patient "My Health Record" portal kinda sucks. It does not work well on mobile devices and really has a hard time loading. I often get stuck on a forever loading screen trying to click/tap onto a new tab within the portal to view prescriptions and other relevant medical data.

Dr Roy is fantastic. The patient portal is horrendous. Way too slow and takes forever. I have used…read morethe portal on both Chrome and Firefox with similar results.

To Whom It May Concern:…read more Subject: Dissatisfied with Dr. Hanimi Challa, MD During my visit, while I was waiting in the examination room, Dr. Challa entered without introducing himself. His manner seemed abrupt and unprofessional, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. Although I did not express my concerns at the time. I did not feel welcomed as a patient. When Dr. Challa asked about the reason for my visit, I began explaining that I have several ongoing health conditions, including fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, insomnia, TMJ disorders, joint pain, and ear-related issues. As I discussed my medical history, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than carefully considered. At one point, I mentioned that I see a dermatologist, and his response suggested that this was not important. I also explained that I needed a referral for my annual mammogram because I am considered high-risk due to my family history and I also have skin Cancer, my sister passed away from breast cancer. Instead of showing understanding, Dr. Challa responded in a frustrated tone and stated, "From the beginning, I want to let you know that I am a doctor who does not like giving referral. I stated I needed him to send referrals to my neurology and he seemed to be upset. This statement was very concerning to me. When I told him I needed the referrals and if doesn't send it to my neurologist my family or I were going to held him responsible if something happens to me. Later on the receptionist called me to make the following appointment and kindly I asked her if he as issue any referrals to my doctor, she stated he only summited one to my neurologist Dr. Jacome, I asked her if he issue the one for the mammogram she state only for Dr. Jacome, I complained he needed to submit one because my mammogram was pass due. Then she came back to the phone and told me he was going to send it in. I feel deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported, especially when managing multiple health conditions. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect to this standards, when I checked the reviews giving to him other patients also complaint of his attitude and him also annoyed of giving referrals which it could put patients life in danger. Please if anyone is not content with his service, continue reporting him before any innocent patient suffers any fatal consequence due to him not caring for his patient Thank you, June 2026
