These concrete pieces only down in ground 4" below grade. Epcon's answer to everything is: this is how we do all our communities", or, "We've used these contractors for Years." It doesn't make it right just because you've used them for a long time. Take some pride in who you hire and how their jobs are performed. If I owned Epcon, I'd be totally embarrassed and ashamed at what you pull on all of the residents here. Also absolutely terrible lack of correspondence for EVERYTHING! I called Eagle Land Title Agency and am told by the person who picked up the phone that Jim will need to get back to me as he's not the one with the experience. Fine, I wait for Jim's call. Although I do admit I didn't give all of the information up front, Jim says he should be able to help. Great! I send him the contract between my mom and I that the lender has approved. In the contract I specify the seller will pay for taxes and I will pay for the closing costs including the work to be done by the title company. Jim says the contract doesn't detail out the specific charges and that I do not have a form that's normally included in other home purchases by the realtor board. He also advises I get a lawyer. I explain that I don't believe I need a lawyer and in response I'm asked to Google other title companies in the area that can help. Great! I will take my business elsewhere. Lesson learned, I will provide the most details upfront when I speak to another title company before I waste a full week to be told they don't want my business. Another important detail to note is I was asked to pay $500 upfront for the title search/examination and when I mention it to my mortgage banker, he tells me the bank will send a title order and the payment needs to be done at closing. In the preceding 12 months or so, only in one single occasion, I was contacted via phone by the management firm. That phone call took place due to the fact that management firm had a question regarding an unknown vehicle parked near my unit. The allegation regarding the door jamb is particularly ludicrous. The vendor contacted me only once and never responded to my subsequent emails. Moreover, the vendor (Able Roofing) eventually only contacted me once I posted a review of my experience with them on Yelp (by the way, that review is up on Yelp; anyone can verify it) -- previously, they simply did not respond my emails. Therefore, the management firm ('The Twenty Seven Group') did absolutely nothing to do address the situation. Subsequently the vendor stated that he went to the property and, while speaking with me by phone, indicated that my presence was not necessary. He further stated that he would have his team properly repair the door jamb; however, that the vendor never contacted me again. By the way, my recollection of events are also backed by the fact all my phone calls are recorded.

There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments.
