I cannot believe how much the owner took advantage of my little knowledge. I was charged 30 dollars plus whatever tax for a vape that she doesn't have coils for and then she charged me another 35 for a small amount of juice. When i got home I google searched the price of both and at top prices it was 30 at best for both...DO Not go to this shop they are crooked and over charge me by $40 only because I was not knowledgeable. read more

I started vaping a year ago this month, this is the first place I went to. Sheiliah was awesome she gave me all the knowledge I needed and I have learned a lot from her. My mod broke after I bought it she helped me with a receipt and everything I needed to send it back, without her help I would have been shit outta luck. I'm not sure about some of the bad experiences people have had in the past, but those reviews were from a while ago. I've been going here for most of 2019, and I can say this place is the best! If you're still going to Smoker's Choice, you need to stop and come check this place out. It's run by two women I believe are sisters, and they are super nice. Their mom also helps out at the register. They have a great selection, and the best customer service of any vape shop I've ever been to. The women are always really nice, cheery, and in a good mood, unlike some stores that the whole staff is burned out stoners who couldn't give less of a F@#&. Almost every time I go in, they throw something in for free or just give me a discount, even since my first day going in. And their prices are really cheap IMO. My favorite vape shop! read more

Great Shop, owner and her sister are awesome. They care about what they sell you and the experience you have when you're in the shop. I had no idea what I was looking for. (At the time I was new to vaping). She set me up with a simple mod and a great eliquid that I cant seem to find anywhere else Five Pawns. I never thought I would be enjoying a "Toasted Coconut, KY Bourbon , roasted almond, Madagascar vanilla bean" instead of a cigarette until I walked out of the shop. They double and triple their mark up for products. For instance, when I first started vaping to quit cigarettes, I purchased an Endura T18 vaping system from them for $48.00. It came with an extra coil so didn't need to purchase another for about a month. When I needed one, I purchased from them, feeling decent that I was helping a community business. The one coil cost $6.00 and change. I subsequently bought a few more. One time I went in for a new one, and they were out. I really needed a coil, so I went online. Not only did I find a package of 5 genuine Edura T18 coils for $7.20, the system that they sold me, was listed at $28.00. The vape juice they sold me was also listed for $18.00 for a 34ml bottle. They were charging me $30.00. I get that they have a brick and mortar. But they also buy their stock at a wholesale. Their mark-ups should be criminal. I will never buy from them again, and quite frankly, hope karma is swift and the greedy proprietors, both women, go out of business. read more

I wasn't even going to write this review but I decided that I should, I want to tell you about the worst experience I've ever had in any business in my entire life. I decided to stop smoking entirely after 25 years of smoking every day, I turned to vaping for a hopefully healthy change of pace. I went to this shop Vapor Rising about a week ago and had an ok experience dealing with the "nurse" lady who works there, although I did find out the next day that she had attempted to charge me DOUBLE of what any other vape shop would charge me anywhere in the state of NY.. told me it was $40 dollars for a bottle of Halo Tribeca($20 at any other vape shop), at the counter she recommended I purchase this emergency type e cigarette also containing Tribeca flavor as a back up, I was hesitant but then she says really you need to try this I'll split the cost with you(normally $13, said she would only charge me $6), so I bought it.. any other vape shop in the state charges $6.00!! So she did me absolutely no favor and didn't give me any deal,, he'll of a sales tactic tho! I was impressed with all the different devices they have available so despite the so so experience I went back again just a couple days ago... HERES where the fun begins... I walk in the shop and there was another older lady working, I look over to the lounge area and see a younger couple sitting together in a chair kissing, her leg was wrapped over her boyfriend with her toungue down his throat.. I thought ok I guess I'll stick to the counter area.. turns out the girl was an EMPLOYEE, sort of a disgusting and weird experience to say the least... anyways I get the older lady coming over asking what she can do for me. Told her I was just killing some time, I mentioned that I was an ex smoker new to the game and didn't know much about the different devices available(turns out neither did she) she starts showing me some things pointing out some features that made no sense to me,, I asked if she had a certain device that I had read reviews about and she responds with "no, we only carry top of the line first quality devices".. the device I had asked her about is the most desirable pod system on the market currently(most places are sold out) She asks what I currently use and I told her that I purchased an Orion DNA pod device from a shop in Geneva NY(Bad Vapor) .. she replies(must have been a store return or a defective device because all of Bad Vapors employees come to this shop to buy their stuff), I disagreed kindly and said that I doubted their would be a difference in quality between devices store to store,, she says they sell re shrink wrap stuff that customers return and stuff that's second quality!! I couldn't believe how generic and rediculous she sounded but I kept my cool, I said well the reason why I bought the device from Bad Vapor is because when I first came to Vapor Rising the lady tried charging me double for stuff so I went there to buy my first device,, she then gets all red in the face and says then why are you here at my shop,, I said because my wife and children wanted to go to a few stores and that I decided to stop back in here and give the place a second try,, she says "are you sure there isn't anything I can help you with" , "I don't want to just say the words but I'd rather you go and give your business to the store you bought your device from"... I was blown away that she said these things to me,, basically telling me to leave her shop!! I said well I'm going to check out a few things on the case for a bit,, she walks away angry and stands and stared at me,, I look down at a device called a Aegis Legend mod box, I pull out my phone to go to YouTube to see what people say about the device,,, she comes over and says you know you should really take your business elsewhere because we don't allow people to price match or take photos of our showcase!! I said I'm not taking any pictures at all, nor am I price matching, i was just going to watch a review on this device,, she stormed away and called someone(probably the other lady who tried charging me double) she literally comes back over with the lady on speaker so she could hear what was being said,, ABSOLUTELY CRAZY feeling to be made to feel completely unwelcome... FOR NO REASON.. walk into employees basically grinding on each other in the lounge section, then get treated worse than I've ever been treated at a place of business in my whole entire life,, I'm proud of myself for not smoking for almost 2 weeks now, but being in Vapor Rising in Canadaigua absolutely turned my stomach, the experience was disgusting and I will never forget the way they made me feel, unwanted at their establishment and very unwelcome,, SMOKERS CHOICE was a delight after being treated so badly.. read more

Ok so here's the deal with this place.... I went in there to look for a new ecig because mine broke. I usually order my stuff online because it's wwaaayy cheaper, but I couldn't wait for shipping. So I ended up buying a plain Jane deal that had no packaging. I took it home, juiced it up and it did not work. I charged it and even tried other tanks and new coils. The thing was junk. So luckily I saved my receipt and took it back a couple weeks later when my schedule allowed me to. $26.88 for something that didn't work. The man who processed my return initially gave me a hard time almost like I was lying about it even though I had the item and receipt. Then he tried getting me to exchange it for something else even though I told him multiple times to just process the return onto my card. Finally he did it and I started looking at the the different juices looking to sample some. Not only did he want me to use a tank/ tip that had clearly been used by other people, he wanted me to pay for the samples, so I said screw it and left. I will not return to Vapor Rising again. I'm going to stick to Ebay and I suggest others do the same. read more
