Considering the circumstances were in with COVID 19, this place truly is following social distancing and in my opinion is going above and beyond, something I wish NJ was doing more of. There's a sign in the door allowing only 6 people with in the store and you have to knock to be welcomed by an employee. Once we were greeted we were given hand sanitizer and we placed our order for a Mango Matcha Madness Smoothie. For starters, I believe I've had matcha only once before and wasn't the biggest fan of it however my boyfriend wanted to try it so I thought why not; if anything, if I didn't like it I'd just make him drink it LOL! But luckily I did really like it and I think now I'm more open to ordering matcha drinks going forward. This smoothie had mango and banana in them and I did get more hints of banana so I think if I were in the area again I'd ask for a bit more mango since I'm not the biggest fan of banana. Regardless of that, the smoothie was very tasty and fresh and would recommend people try it! Aside from that, we went to pay for the smoothie at the counter and once you give them your card it's swiped and wiped down right after before being given to you like WOW. I became a huge fan of the precautions this place is taking and I consider this as great customer service since they're looking out not only for themselves but also their customers. We only go to Aldi for a few products that we know they usually have and then finish the rest of our shopping at one of the major supermarkets or the coop in Rutland. Too bad Trader Joe's is 90 minutes north in Burlington. There are many Aldi stores that we've been to in other states and always had great experiences.
