They were fantastic - everything you hope a real estate agent would do for you. They were honest with us about how to price the property for a quick sale. Their estimate was right on the dot with my estimate. The last thing we wanted was for a real estate agent to promise us they could sell at a high price in this difficult market, and have it sit on the market for months. They told us what we had to do to physically prepare the house for sale, and took great pictures for the online sites. They found out what had to be done with the fire alarms so they were up to code, to prevent delays in the negotiation. They were our advocates during the negotiation process with the buyer, and they really acted in our best interest. We had the place sold within 2.5 months of the initial posting!

I next used her to be my buyers agent when looking for houses in Providence. I gave her an idea of what areas of the city I was interested in and what features I was looking for. She promptly emailed me around 15 properties that fit the bill. I trimmed the list down to about 7 that I was interested in and she set up appointments to see them all. I will never understand why someone looking for a house would not use a buyers agent. They do all the work for you and you don't have to pay them. Their commission is split with the seller's agent. Not a dime out of your pocket! Carol was very helpful when I was looking at houses. She asked a lot of questions I would never have known to ask of the seller's agents. Who is going to pay to remove something (asbestos tile), who is responsible for bringing something up to code, etc. It's nice to have someone in your corner who has your best interest in mind.
