Eating healthy has helped me a lot for a while and I started to feel better. However once in a while, I would still go out with friends and eat junk food. That's when my heartburn and acid reflux came back. So I found Dr Qian's clinic and she did acupuncture on me for about a couple of weeks and the heartburn and acid reflux had stopped. After 3 days of driving and meeting I was in excruciating pain. I called the clinic (which is btw super nice and clean). Dr Quian waited for me to arrive and gave me one of the best acupuncture session I ever had. She had cupping to it and I was already relieved. She advised me to go see my acupuncturist at home when I am back and gave me a lot of advices. I highly recommend her.

Unfortunately, I can't really speak for the rest of the store as the use of herbs is completely foreign to me but if the scents are supposed to meld together into an odd and not necessarily pleasing aroma then this place does it right!

For over a year, I would come to the store to seek different items and each time, they'll pretend not to know me. But time and again, they call out very warm hellos to white customers and get into a conversation. There is also the racist way in how they give change. Canada is easily a place for racists: when white Canadians see businesses being racist towards a Black person, they conveniently at as if it has nothing to do with them, enjoy it and the preferential treatment they receive over the (African, Black, Caribean) person in question. I have just as much and as little to spend as the next person. ALSO: After trying a number of the products, I decided to randomly test some. Most of what you're buying is starch, simply corn starch, coated in sugar. A waste of money. The one star is because ZERO is not a negative. NO TO RACISTS and scam medicines.

The practitioner who treated me was disappointing on many levels. He did not do a proper assessment of the situation, rather he immediately jumped to the conclusion that my acute injury whuch occurred over the weekend was the result of poor workplace ergonomics based simply on the fact that I have a desk job and don't have a standing desk. Never mind that I adjusted my desk with a consultation by a professional ergotherapist - I spent 90 min here being preached to about the virtues of standing desks (even though I have a foot problem and have been advised not to use one), with no real treatment of my acute issue itself other than squeezing the limb for several minutes so it would "relax". The next day in addition to the joint issue, now the surrounding muscles are inflamed and sore. I do want to point out that I understand the modality of osteopathy and the fact that sometimes a subtle event can be the straw that breaks the camel's back. However that's not a license for lazy diagnosis. This particular practitioner was a poor listener and pushy and I did not feel like he was listening or trying to properly understand the situation. What he described did not match the pattern of onset of my pain or symptoms. There is something more acute going on and now I am going elsewhere to get an x-ray and a proper diagnosis. I will finally add that the practitioner kept touching and moving his mask during the treatment then putting his bare hands on my neck and shoulders without sanitizing them. This clinic needs better hiring and training processes.
