They traded my glock 27 for the brand new Kahr and I am very pleased. I guess if I am every in the market for another gun I would definately go again. In the interest of being thorough I have to say the place needs some updating. It seemed a bit like a cave in there, but I guess it doesn't really matter. His son has taken over and the way he conducts business is way different than his father. He offered me a $1000.00 dollars for the ring. i said may i ask you a question? He said thats my offer take it or leave it. I said no thanks. I said the spot price for gold today is $4150.00 a ounce. He said we have to make money to. $3150.00 is a big difference and should be ashamed to offer such a low amount when clearly he knows what its worth. Terrible experience. My dear friend Leonard Parks always spoke highly of Howard. Maybe his son should follow him and have some hospitality. Lost this customer for good.

The guys are friendly and down-to-Earth ppl. I have been in as a buyer and as a seller and was…read moretreated very fairly each time. The Pawn business gets a bad name from bad owners and the inherent thought that one is getting "ripped off" in there. You always have to keep in mind, they are buying to resell the item. So, of course you're not going to get it's "worth". You're getting a percentage of it's "worth" then it still has to be sold again to someone else for profit. If ppl can't understand that basic premise they have no business being in there. Good place to look for discount items and sell old things just lying around. If you need quick cash, bring your collateral property and y'all work it out
