There's also a camera store (Focus) sharing the same retail space. The store acknowledges that this shop exists on the Traditional Territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council. I was particularly drawn to the hoodies, sweaters, and outerwear. I'm not sure where else Yukon Built is sold, but their flagship and online stores should offer what one needs within this "even in the summer" chilly territorial capital.

Canadian Tire is sort of a combination of an automotive center, hardware store, and housewares…read morecenter. The shelving is dense and when I come to one of these stores, I decide what I want to buy and then find the associated aisle locations. I recently had a little extra time on my hands (and space in my suitcase), and decided to shop for a few things that had been on my Target/Home Depot list back home. I stayed away from any toxic liquids and stuck to a few light items of which I thought was well priced (including currency conversion). I purchased an extra Canadian tire bag, tied it in a bow, and had it fit nicely in my luggage. My relatively short shopping trip (after a 1.8 km walk from the hotel) was efficient and with good service by store staff.
